God has the right to judge everything and everyone because He created all things. But after He resurrected Jesus from the grave He gave Him authority over everything and everyone. He also gave Him the right to Judge when He returns to earth. Do you believe in Jesus? Repent and be changed continually!
We do not battle with flesh and blood but with the evil cosmic powers. Satan does all he can do to keep us from the thing God has called us to.
The days leading to the cross were a great time of teaching form Jesus. He spent His last few days knowing He would suffer more than we can imagine.
Habakkuk is a minor prophet that questioned God about how the Israelite nation would be disciplined through the Babylonians. He begins chpt. 1 complaining to God and telling Him he is just going to sit and wait for Him to answer.
Chpt. 2 begins with God answering Habakkuk.
We don't think about faith coming in different types, but Jesus says there are different kinds of faith. How we use them is important to our growth in Christ.
God had a plan for Moses even from his birth. At the age of 80 His plan along was going to be given to Moses. Life had changed many times for Moses, but life would never be the same after he met God at a burning bush. God wants to meet you where ever you are in life. He has a plan for you and a purpose for you. If you have received Jesus as your Savior God is preparing you for a tomorrow. Will you answer His call with "Here I am"?
I believe God allows memories to help us in ways we have not idea.
What is your very first memory? Mine was I was living with an Aunt, had done something that caused me to be sitting in a corner. My dad walked in and asked if I would like to go with him on a run in his truck. I was so glad to see my dad. But I think I was more glad to get out of that corner.
God prepared Moses long before He used him. God allows life to teach us to have compassion for others, to learn about relationships and above all to experience life.in real time. Then He prepares us for time ahead of us to be used in His purpose and plans.
Psalm 139 is one of my favorite Psalm. David knows God not only created him but knows EVERYTHING about him. What he thinks, what he speaks and where he goes. God is everything and is everywhere.
God says, "Behold, I make all things new." 2024 will bring many new things into your life. Are you ready to let Jesus help you with them? It's a new year, a new month, a new week and a new day. Open your heart to all the Holy Spirit to direct your path through the new things of this year.
Today is a time to reflect on what God has done and is continuing to do in my life and in this podcast. Thank you all for showing this simple woman of faith how big God is in her life
Jesus is the reason for the season to celebrate by giving gifts to those we love and to those that are in need. Jesus is the one we celebrate today. His birth was like to no other human because He is fully God and fully human. He came to save you from your sin filled self and to give you a new life and life forever.
Ceasar Augusts thought he had a brilliant idea to bring in tax money to his empire. BUT GOD was using him as His pawn to bring His Son into that mixed up, corrupt and unmoral world.
The Jews knew the prophecy of Isaiah that the Messiah would be born of a virgin. But when it took place all they could see was Jesus being the carpenter's son. This happened this way, I believe so that we can believe that Jesus is coming again.
Jesus has no beginning as God's Son but as a human He does. Genealogy was important in the Jewish nation. It still is to a lot of people. His enealogy is only given to us in Matthew but it plays an important role to letting us know the people used by God to bring His Son to earth.
Angels are all around us. We don't always see them or recognize that they are here, but they are. Be thankful for your guardian angel that Christ gives to watch over you. Then thank Him for other angels that tend to watch your daily living. Happy Thanksgiving to all who may listen!
Thanksgiving is not man's idea, but God's. He deserves thanks for
all He has done, is doing and will do for you in life on this earth. Stop complaining so much and begin to give thanks and you will have a new perspective on life, people and circumstances today.
Just as there is God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, you are made up of body, soul and spirit. Today, let's see how scripture describes how each has its own job and yet live together in this world.
The Bible tells us there is 3 kinds of people. We are given the
privilege to choose which kind of person we want to be. Only one
kind will bring all the promises and blessings that God has for you.
Are you sowing seeds that are harmful to you and to your walk with Jesus or are you asking Holy Spirit to sow His good seed in you. Are you asking for help to take out all the weeds and roots that are unhealthy for you? Your life is a garden you plant. Just make sure you are sowing good seed because what you sow your will reap.
