The team takes down the Master of the World and his henchmen, clearing the path for the next phase of their mission. Reuniting with Lockjaw, the group is finally transported to the location of Kang’s Space Chair. After sneaking past its elite guards, the heroes activate the chair—instantly hurtling through space and time.
They arrive in ancient Egypt, surrounded by towering statues and golden sands. Their welcome party? None other than Ra Ma Tut, an earlier incarnation of Kang, orders his guards to seize the "traitors." At his side stands a young and imposing figure: En Sabah Nur, whom Token recognizes as the future tyrant Apocalypse.

The group meets with Lockjaw, who tells them that someone named Godking Kang has come from the future with a warning that Galactus is coming to devour the Earth. When the Royal Family asks for proof, Kang pulls out something that takes control of the entire Royal Family, including any guards. Lockjaw was the only one who made it out. After revealing this, the group is teleported to another plane of existence where they meet Uatu the Watcher and Zatu the Narrator, who tell the group that everything depends on their choices. Afterward, Lockjaw tells the group that Kang is in control of the Royal group and his Space Chair is being held somewhere else. The group decided to go for the chair before confronting Kang.

The battle with the symbiotes rages on, but one by one, the heroes manage to overcome their attackers. J. Fury warns the team about a new and unknown symbiote named Peril, one that doesn’t match any known records. He suggests they’ll need to capture and study it in the future. The team retreats to Fury’s high-rise to regroup, but peace is short-lived. A new message arrives, warning them of an even greater looming threat: Kang. To prepare, the team must locate a mysterious group known as the Inhumans. Just as questions arise, a portal opens, revealing their unexpected guide: a talking dog.

Weeks after their clash with the Crimson Surfer, the team has gone their separate ways—each dealing with the aftermath in their own way. They reunite at Nick Fury’s high-rise, where they learn that Blazor has been benched, struggling to recover mentally from the battle. Fury introduces a new hero to the team named Token. Soon after, word arrives from J. Fury that Teresa Parker—daughter of Peter Parker—has been kidnapped and taken to a set of shipping yards.
As the team investigates, they’re ambushed by symbiote dragons in a brutal skirmish. After surviving the onslaught, their search for Teresa continues, only to take a shocking turn when J. Fury becomes possessed by a symbiote. Two more mysterious symbiotes and a red-headed man suddenly appear, setting the stage for an ominous new threat.
