Welcome to Season 2, Episode 1 of 'The Magnetic Life'. In this episode, I 'spill the beans' on my top three big lessons from my first ever TEDx talk that I gave in December, 2022. Funny enough, this event was hosted at my old high school! With no real history of public speaking per say, 2 babies under 2 and a lot going on, I could have passed up on this event. But, I am all about the 'yes energy' these days and am sooooo glad I did! Can't wait to share the big things that I learned from this incredible opportunity. Pass it along to someone you know who wants to do a TEDx talk. See you on the inside!

But the good thing, is that it is equal parts rewarding as it is challenging and seeing these tiny humans grow is one of the most humbling and beautiful things would could ever witness. In this interview, I sit down with Kim Marshall, the founder of Roots + Wings Childhood. In this interview we chat about... what would you describe as conscious parenting? What do parents need to unlearn from their past and begin to emotionally regulate better? And so much more. As the person who has always taken the holistic road in life, I planned my birth to be as natural as possible - I ate all of the dates, chugged raspberry tea, bounced on balls, curbed walked, did hypnobirthing courses and the list goes on. So how could I ever have imaged anything but a peaceful, intentional birth? After my birth continued and continued to turn sideways, I ended up with a highly medicalized birth that took my body a very long time to recover from. On top of the physical toll and the blood loss, came something I could have never in a million years imagined - deep shame. With the way by birth turned out, I could never share with anyone that I had failed as a woman. I deeply desired to keep this a secret. I was consumed by failure and shame and didn't even know what to do about it. It took 3.3 years to get here, but I am finally ready to process my birth story on episode 1 of The Magnetic Mama podcast. Thank you for being here, I am so grateful. In this episode we break down actionable steps and energetic steps to help call in more financial wealth and happiness. See you inside!
