Frankie Ballard burst onto the country rock scene in 2010 with grit in his voice and gasoline in his veins, scoring three consecutive No. 1 hits, including Sunshine & Whiskey and racking up nearly a billion global streams. He toured with legends, lived on the road more than 200 days a year, and embodied the carefree, hard-driving spirit his songs celebrated. But behind the success, the pace was unsustainable. By 2020, the chase for approval and constant motion had taken its toll. Ballard stepped away from the spotlight, started a family, and quietly deepened his faith. What followed wasn’t a rebrand, it was a realignment. In 2025, he returned with The Messenger, a gospel-leaning, scripture-rooted record infused with blues and rock conviction. Then came “Money Runs Out,” a sharp reflection on loyalty, loss, and what remains when fame fades. Today, Frankie Ballard isn’t chasing charts, he’s chasing truth. Grounded in fatherhood, disciplined in faith, and unafraid of hard questions, his music now carries the weight of lived experience. This isn’t a comeback. It’s a reckoning.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Dax’s journey is one of survival, faith, and self-discovery. From nearly not surviving birth to enduring experiences that shaped him, he has created “the abyss” as a way to process life and grow stronger. His work explores the challenges of manhood, the lies men are taught about strength and vulnerability, and the search for love and peace amidst success and loneliness. His new song Temptation dives into inner conflict and the struggle to resist ego, anger, addiction, and lust, showing how faith and determination guide him through life’s hardest seasons. Dax’s story is about confronting your demons, finding your identity, and redefining what it truly means to be a man.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

During COVID, she connected over Zoom with other young people who shared her birthmark. What once felt isolating became empowering. Jenny Tolman grew up around music, but her path to finding her voice was anything but easy. In high school, she found herself in an abusive relationship that changed the course of her life. Songwriting became her escape, then her healing, and eventually her confidence. As the pain faded, the music turned brighter, and Jenny realized she didn’t just love music, she was meant to do it. Her very first show was at the legendary Bluebird Cafe, and through songwriting she met her husband, Grammy nominated producer Dave Brainard. After Dave was brutally assaulted in a crosswalk attack, Jenny knew without question that he was her person and that she wanted to be with him forever. Shortly after having her son Bear, Jenny was cast on The Road, starring Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, and Gretchen Wilson, becoming one of 12 finalists while balancing new motherhood and full time touring. It was the hardest and most life changing year of her life and proof that sometimes the bravest thing you can do is keep going.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Well Dressed Nashville started in 2019 when Bonnie, a pediatric cancer nurse, saw an opportunity at an influencer closet sale. WD was supposed to be an in-person event, but when COVID hit before the first sale, she moved everything online and it took off. She built the business mostly alone, lost their 30k-follower Instagram in Oct 2022, rebuilt from zero, and had her best year in 2023 before burning out and planning to close. Bonnie had become close with Liz Streisand, a former celebrity journalist who ran a Broadway ticketing company with her husband Eric, a longtime hedge fund manager. After six months of rest, Bonnie texted Liz “Let’s do it,” and on July 4, 2024, Liz and Eric bought half the business. They relaunched WD out of their garage, moved into a warehouse in Jan 2025, and hit their yearly goal by August. In Sept 2025, Eric passed away after a five-year battle with lung cancer. Liz now shares how she and the kids are coping, while Bonnie shares her miraculous adoption story. In Nov, during their anniversary drop, Well Dressed Nashville hit $1 million in sales—a milestone powered by grit, reinvention, and heart.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
