For Christians, every Halloween season reminds us of the worldview behind the costumes, candies and caricatures. The Bible however warns us that there are real principalities and powers of darkness. What are demons and what are they capable of? Is occultism more than mere parlor games and what are the ramifications of engaging in it? But most importantly how can Christians think through the world of demonology and occultism from a Christian theological worldview? In this episode, Prof. Kevin Lewis from Biola University joins Prashanth and Carlos to answer precisely these questions and a lot more.

Skeptics often ask, "Who created God?" or "What caused God to come into being?" These are common misunderstandings of the nature and being of God. Christianity holds that God is a self-sufficient being whose existence depends on nothing outside of Himself. This divine attribute is called Aseity. In this episode, Prashanth is joined by Carlos Pamplona and Dr. Brian Orr to discuss why this doctrine is important to our faith and how it offers value to the disciplines of apologetics and evangelism.
