In 'A Room of One's Own,' Virginia Woolf writes of Margaret Cavendish's reputation: "Evidentally the crazy Duchess became a bogey to frighten clever girls with." Dismisses as mad in her own time, and untalented later, Cavendish remains something of an enigma, a strange proto-feminist, proto-science fiction writer who remained entirely untamed.  Support Noble Blood: — Bonus episodes, stickers, and scripts on Patreon— Order Dana's book, 'Anatomy: A Love Story' and its sequel 'Immortality: A Love Story'  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

I know the podcast itself is not in charge of the ads, but the ad break at the end was Ad A - Ad B - Ad C - Ad D - Ad A - Ad C - Ad D - Ad E and I'm sure it wasn't over but at that point I just had to write a comment. I listen to this while lying in bed before I sleep, I try to avoid using my cellphone at that time so I'll tolerate ad breaks. But this is absolutely ridiculous.

A hole in the ground where you can access the water table. Yes that's literally the definition of a well. Good job. Jessica was stuck in the well for literal days and almost lost at least one leg if I remember correctly. But yeah sure no reason for anyone to have been freaking out at all.

I feel that if you take it up on yourself to translate a written work it's important to not to decide what to change in order to fit your own ideas, feelings and mortality.

I'm disappointed she was reduced to wife in this episode. No mention of the time she led an army into battle WHILE PREGNANT. You didn't even talk about how when Henry put her on trial for the annulment, she walked into a room full of hostile men who had already made up their minds. she spoke so passionately and eloquently she changed their minds and even Henry couldn't refute what she said.
