Peergroup podcast

Als randprogramma bij de voorstelling Atropos vonden er op verschillende middelbare scholen rondom de Wolden workshops plaats. In deze podcast spreken verschillende jongeren over de thema's uit de voorstelling Atropos. Hoe zien zij de toekomst en hun rol daarin? De podcast werd gemaakt als onderdeel van het educatieprogramma rondom de voorstelling.

Peergroup are familiar with delving into the unknown. As site specific theatre makers, they seek out complex, societal challenges and make art together with the citizens wrapped up in them. And this kind of theatre making happens right out in the turbulent sea of everyday life. This is a search, to uncover exactly how community and location theatre create societal impact what remains in the wake of such theatre making and the trouble with measuring effect. In this mini series we’ll be looking back at several Peergroup productions and hearing from those involved in the creation of them, those affected by the process and the social scientists that have been investigating the impact of Peergroups work. In de jaren tachtig bevond zich midden in het Drentse landschap een geheimzinnig stukje Amerikaans grondgebied. Daar, verscholen tussen de bossen, werden kernkoppen bewaard. Dit publieke geheim werd bewaakt door vaak dienstplichtige, Nederlandse militairen. Voor hen kwam in Havelteberg de Koude Oorlog wel heel dichtbij. Smaakt het verhaal naar meer? Peergroup brengt de verhalen van betrokkenen en omwonenden indringend in beeld in de voorstelling De Bom op en rond de oude nucleaire site in Havelteberg, 24 t/m 29 augustus.
