Since late 2020, the case of missing Sydney woman Melissa Caddick has captivated the country. A seemingly successful businesswoman from Sydney's eastern suburbs went missing after authorities raided her Dover Heights home amid questions over an unlicensed financial planning business.
Sydney Morning Herald investigative journalist Kate McClymont would reveal key details of a massive Ponzi scheme and a $23 million fraud that ripped off investors including her family and friends as Caddick lived the high life of overseas trips, cars and high end fashion. McClymont's coverage would win her a ninth Walkley Award.
Now McClymont and 60 Minutes’ Tom Steinfort are set to present a breakthrough podcast Liar, Liar: Melissa Caddick and the Missing Millions that will follow the twists and turns of a case where everyone has a theory of their own. What happened to the money and what happened to Melissa? Liar Liar will reveal fresh details of the crime of the century through interviews with key players and takes listeners from upmarket jewellery auction rooms in Hong Kong, to the ski slopes of Aspen to private islands in the South Pacific.
and who cares about this guy! I'm bit here to ousten to you tear down some poor twit, you should be reporting on the crime.
why do they feel the need to repeat so much content, it's patronizing. we've already heard so much of this, pretty close to giving up.

Had to unsubscribe 5 minutes into the 1st episode. The journalists narrating the story are beyond annoying.
What a terrible podcast. A fascinating subject completely ruined by tabloid presentation, overly sensationalist and repetitive journalism. It's filled with arrogance and condescending smugness that is so irritating. I would love a different team to take this on. could be amazing instead it's trashy and annoying.
I wish Australian people would finally find a way to overcome the urge to start every sentence with 'Look' 😩 It's SO annoying and confrontational sounding. I only got 10 mins into the first episode and had to ditch it.
The game's afoot

I like this podcast but I think they are running out of content. Lots of audio clips, information, and interviews being repeated in this episode.
A very bizarre jokey tone to this podcast. After listing their very-serious-journalist credentials, the podcast's vibe descends into being snide, gossipy with ill-executed banter. I'm listening in spite of the hosts to an otherwise interesting story.
"Anne Frank style" ?!
Shame what should have been such an interesting and engaging podcast & story is ruined by the completely lame, overly dramatic and condescending presentation. Scripting and narration is awful. Not, at all, what you’d expect from two highly regarded journalists. Hopefully, someone else, does this story justice in the future.
Perfect material, awful production. What's with the dramatic reading! Oh Tom, oh Kate! Oh how marvellous are we! Ugh!
Perfect podcast material and it's obviously extremely well researched, I just can't help feeling the presenters are letting it down. It's not a natural delivery and at times sounds like voice actors reading a script, not highly and hugely respected award winning journalists.
