Are you so busy doing "good things" that you're missing Jesus completely?
In this powerful solo episode, we dive deep into one of the most misunderstood stories in the Bible: Mary and Martha. When Jesus said "Martha, Martha," it wasn't just a correction—it was a wake-up call for all of us drowning in busyness, distraction, and doing things that "need to be done." If you've ever felt like you're running on empty while serving God, this message will gut-punch you in the best way possible.
IN THIS EPISODE, YOU'LL DISCOVER:
• Why Jesus calls certain people's names TWICE in the Bible—and what it means when He does (Abraham, Moses, Simon Peter, and more)
• The real reason Martha was distracted (hint: she was doing what culturally HAD to be done, just like many of us today)
• Three things that happen when we ignore the presence of Jesus—even while doing "ministry work"
• Why being busy for God is NOT the same as being close to God, and how to tell the difference
• The one thing Jesus says is needed above everything else—and how to actually prioritize it in our chaotic lives
THIS MESSAGE IS FOR: The saints AND the ain'ts. Whether you're deep in church ministry or questioning if following Christ is even for you. If you're exhausted from doing all the "right things" but still feel distant from God, this episode will help you find your way back to His feet.

He wasn’t just a DJ. He wasn’t just a supporter of the culture. He was a servant of God who boldly used his gifts to glorify Jesus in public, in private, and everywhere in between. His life was a testimony that faith isn’t meant to be hidden — it’s meant to be lived out loud.
DJ I Rock Jesus stood as a bridge between music, ministry, and community. He helped create spaces where believers could gather, celebrate, laugh, worship, and grow together. Through every set, every event, every conversation, and every moment behind the scenes, he carried a heart for the Kingdom that could not be ignored.
And one of the most powerful parts of his story happened at his final event.
On the King Legend Talks 7 City Tour, he stepped into one of his biggest fears — public speaking. He joined the panel as a guest speaker and did something incredible: he faced that fear head-on and won. He didn’t let fear stop him from showing up, from sharing, from using his voice to impact others.
That moment now stands as a beautiful reminder of who he was — someone who kept growing, kept stepping out in faith, and kept saying “yes” to God even when it was uncomfortable.
This loss hurts because his impact was real. His presence was real. His love for God and for people was real.
But we don’t grieve without hope.
We celebrate a life well lived. We celebrate a race well run.We celebrate a man who rocked Jesus until his final breath.
Thank you for the blueprint.Thank you for the encouragement.Thank you for the example of bold faith and joyful service.
Rest in glory, DJ I Rock Jesus. You rocked Jesus publicly, boldly, and without compromise… and now you’re home with the One you followed so faithfully.
If DJ I Rock Jesus ever impacted you, encouraged you, or made you smile, share your memories in the comments so we can honor his legacy together.
