Sometimes when healing begins to take hold, something unexpected happens. Emotions begin to rise again. Old memories surface. You might feel tired, unsettled, or wonder if you’ve somehow gone backwards. You haven’t. This is often the point where the nervous system finally feels safe enough to begin releasing what it has been holding — the emotional wounds of abandonment, shame and betrayal stored in the body. In this episode I talk about a stage in The Path of Sovereign Integration that I call The Purification Gate. It’s the moment when deeper healing begins and the body starts letting go of patterns that once helped you survive. Inside this episode we explore: Why emotional waves don’t mean your healing has failed The difference between spiralling and genuine release What changes when you begin healing the root wounds Why recovery becomes faster when the nervous system settles Healing isn’t about endlessly revisiting the past. It’s about reaching the root so the body no longer has to carry what it was never meant to hold. There was a time when you trusted your body. Before you were told you were too sensitive. Before you were told you were overthinking. Before you learned that listening to yourself might cost you connection. In this episode, I’m speaking into The Code of Inner-standing — the stage in The Path of Sovereign Integration where intuition returns. This is not about analysing the past. It’s about recognising how your inner knowing was muted — and how to bring it back online. I share a personal story of when I felt the misalignment in my body long before I had proof. The split between knowing and wanting stability. The moment I realised my intuition wasn’t wrong — it had just been overridden. Inner-standing is not loud. It is not reactive. It is not suspicion. It is the quiet authority of the body. We explore: • How intuition gets turned down • The link between gaslighting and self-doubt • How abandonment, shame and betrayal sit underneath the override • Why reclaiming your intuition requires courage • And how to begin trusting yourself again — slowly, deliberately, sovereignly This episode is not for the woman still asking, “Is this abuse?” It is for the woman who already knows — and is ready to stop organising her life around survival. So much of what we believe about ourselves was never consciously chosen. It was learned early. Repeated often. And absorbed in moments where safety, belonging, or love felt uncertain.
