Last night President Trump held a press gaggle on Airforce One where he said there has been regime change in Iran. Trump claimed we are now negotiating with a third group of leaders and that we’re doing “extremely well.” While he made a strange pivot to ballroom architectural plans, Trump also talked about that “gift” Iran is giving us, and said they are giving us everything we’re asking for, even though Iran has publicly said there are no negotiations and their military is waiting to set our troops on fire.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
From Gaslit by My Husband to I Am Elizabeth Smart to Joe vs. Carole, the pattern is the same. Control, manipulation, and people who can charm you while quietly rewriting your reality. As the holiest week for Catholics and Christians around the world begins today on this Palm Sunday, the first American Pope had some powerful words for U.S. and Israeli leaders: “Cease Fire!” Pope Leo told his faithful that it’s absurd to claim that problems and disagreements can be resolved through war, while Hegseth prayed for “overwhelming violence” to our enemies. Meantime, significant preparations have been made to escalate the conflict with Iran, the U.S sending 2500 more troops to the region before President Trump makes his decision whether to begin a ground invasion.”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It took the pressure of an Easter vacation to get lawmakers to finally fund DHS and get long overdue paychecks to TSA workers. Around 2am ET, the senate passed a version of a spending package that would fund the agency, minus ICE and border patrol. The House still has to pass the senate’s version, but that’s expected later today. This all comes after President Trump announced last night that he would pay TSA workers to stop the chaos at the airports.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
70-year-old Howie Mandel called out Kelly and Mark this week for saying that he looks great, right after he told them his age. Mandel compared it to someone saying “You’re smart for a stupid person.” It got us thinking about how many other backhanded compliments we’ve received over the years, and there are a plenty. Also, we go over a very simple way to avoid ever making someone uncomfortable while trying to say something nice… there are at least three words you should NEVER include in a compliment. Remember when Tiger King completely took over everyone’s life during COVID? Brian Van Holt was right in the middle of bringing that chaos to life in Joe vs. Carole, playing one of the only grounded people in a world full of extremes. He gets into what made Joe Exotic so unsettling, how someone could be charming one second and dangerous the next, and why people stayed even as things got darker. And then there’s the moment everything shifts, when the chaos becomes impossible to ignore.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A comic who is very boring to listen to.
O.M.G. at the ignorance of these people talking about Kyle Rittenhouse. They clearly didn't watch the whole trial, just what the msm that only showed of the prosecution, not the defense, and their ignorance of guns, and the situation...("assault rifle!? please!, mom drove him there?! please!) I can't imagine putting this frame of a story out for the world while being so ill-informed- it's not only pathetic but dangerous.
more stories, less banter.
Superbly good podcast.
