Description

Just Between Friends is where you can listen in on a friend's private conversation and leave feeling more connected than ever. If you’re into over-analyzing, having heartfelt conversations, agreeing to disagree, avoiding small talk, and getting to the meat of it, this might be for you. We’re Jess & Brynn, and with our almost 10 year age gap, we look at life differently. We’re here to combat loneliness while having good, deep, truthful conversations and talking about topics that matter. If you’re into that - we’d love to have you eavesdrop.

A mini quick-hit solo episode from Brynn as she travels through many choices and decisions recently, and how she's coming to stress less and choose faster when it comes to decision making. Making the 'right' choice is a hurdle many of us face, but how do we know if it is the right one?? She's concluded how to reach decisions faster, with less stress, and learned a lot from the word PIVOT. Tune in to hear her talk through a real-life example of right decisions and how it's come to play in her life today.
In this episode Jess & Brynn discuss how knowing who you are is essential to making decisions that are in alignment with your highest self. The two questions each of us needs to be asking ourselves is: 1. What do I want? 2. Does my behavior fit? Knowing these questions is one thing, but living them out is a whole other task. Will you make the right choices for yourself even when it's hard for others? (Apologies upfront for some funky audio issues, we're getting this figured out y'all!) We women are complex creatures full of ever-loving hormones! These hormones make us who we are but they can all be a royal pain in the hinder! Today we're discussing that weird hormonal week, you know the one...where you feels less than motivated, you find yourself questioning your skills, your value and ultimately your worth. Did you know that this is a normal part of our hormonal cycle and you can actually anticipate its arrival and plan accordingly? Yeah, pretty cool. That's what we're discussing and sharing our experiences because when we're vulnerable and share, we help everyone feel a little less alone. :)
Oh we're going there! We're talking about MLMs today. However you refer to them...Network Marketing, Social Selling or Pyramid Schemes, we're sharing our experiences and thoughts on this business model. We've both had our fair share of time inside different MLM companies, even building multiple million dollar organizations! So what's the verdict? Are these companies the next best avenue for stay-at-home-moms to build an income all their own, or are they the scams you should avoid? We'll been breaking down the pros, the cons and the meh's in today's episode!
Rarely do we question our identities, because those are things we know for sure about ourselves. Are you a night owl or an early bird? Are you a wino or microbrew connoisseur? Do you consider yourself a health nut, a yogi or crossfitter? Are you a beach bum or a snow bunny? Maybe you’re hot-headed or cool as a cucumber. Many of our identities have been given to us, passed down from our parents and picked up from friends along the way. Rarely do we question these identities because we've been taught that knowing who we are is one of the most important things you know who.  But what happens when your identities are holding you back from positive change? That's what we're diving into in this first episode along with welcoming you to whatever this podcast turns out to be. We're tackling how to make real, lasting changes in your life and it starts with your identities. Listen in and please also share your thoughts with us by leaving us a voice memo https://anchor.fm/brynn-drexler/message. We could choose to share your feedback in an upcoming episode!
