For the second half of our volunteering abroad episodes; we travel to Afghanistan with Tauranga Anaesthetist Dr Lynette McGaughran. Dr Wayne Morris is the President of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA), the first New Zealander in the position. He is a practicing anaesthetist in Christchurch, with extensive experience in medical education, neuroanaesthesia, and obstetric anaesthesia. Dr Wayne discusses his background, time working in global aid, and plans for the future with WFSA.
In this inaugural episode we hear from Dr Sheila Hart - New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists President on what's going on in the NZSA and the NZ Anaesthesia community.
