We begin this week's episode with Erika testing out intros while Jacob remains woefully unenthusiastic. Jacob then explains the role coffee played in historical revolutions, French or otherwise! Erika channels Bridgerton when reenacting a disgruntled seventeenth century lady - as expected, it's FINE I guess! Is Bridgerton even set in the seventeenth century? I don't know. JACOB!?! Lastly, if you're only here for the dog cameo, Rudy makes an aural appearance at 35:37. Additional music in this episode by the Gardner Chamber Orchestra, performing Mozart's "Flute Concerto No. 2 in D Major." Thanks for listening! Be sure to share with your uncles and enemies!
You may think you have coffee in the bag, but there's even more to know about this classic cup o' joe! Jacob and Erika kick off their podcast debut by covering the energizing brew that causes goats to dance and citizens to riot. This episode features a dog named Rudy and a squeaker fish that he has since disembowelled - fun! Tune in next Sunday for part two.
