In this episode, Lorna and Jhinuk respond to establishing what it means to be Neurodiverse, whilst exploring the impact that a diagnosis has on creative practices. Kati is a professional project manager based in Bristol, with a background in working as a Disability Adviser for Goldsmiths University and University of the Arts London. In this episode our producer Lorna Allan talks to a group of recent graduates from the Brixton finishing school. Brixton Finishing School was set up in 2017 by former Unruly and MailOnline ad exec Ally Owen. BFS’s mission is to find young talent, from underrepresented groups and provide them with tools to enter the, often homogenous, world of advertising and digital marketing.Partnering with agencies BFS helps to prepare and support students giving them the best opportunity and connections to step into those roles knowing that more diverse teams at agencies produce better creative returns.

In this episode I’ll be speaking to author Elle McNicoll & Managing Director of indie publisher, Knights Of, Aimée Felone. Elle McNicoll’s first novel A Kind of Spark, won the Waterstones childrens book prize & her second Show Us Who You Are was released in March 2021 to rave reviews.
