Behind every crime is a story.
Crime Scene is a weekly true‑crime series that takes you inside real cases with craft, purpose, and empathy. Hosted by award‑winning storyteller Jonathan Hirsch and producer‑researcher Cooper Moll, each episode drops you into a case and walks you through what happened — and why it matters.
Episodes open mid‑action and unfold through archival tape, immersive sound design, and disciplined reporting. From complex murder investigations and elaborate cons to undercover stings and overlooked cases, Crime Scene tells the stories that deserve your attention.
This is true crime built like a thriller: tightly structured, evidence‑driven, and designed to stay with you long after you stop listening. Step inside our investigative office every week for a new episode.

this host sounds like an idiot 😂
Human nature is always the weakest link.
you know this show is trash when they blame the victims at Ruby ridge (wife holding a baby, 14 year old boy, dog). at least there's no wasting time getting past the first episode
Free Palestine ✌️🇵🇸

Typical Grand Junction, Mesa County, Montrose, Delta Colorado activity. GJ SUXS!!! I was stationed there for 15 years, hated every second and could not wait to transfer out of that hell hole and had to deal with the Montrose area a lot and it was just as bad as GJ! If you go there, don't stay longer than 3 days and stay away from the river. Watch your back and do not trust anyone!!!
omg this woman is completely ridiculous. Maybe nobody wanted to be her friend because they already knew what kind of person she is. How can you be so holier-than-thou about people being angry over the fact that this woman BUTCHERED the loved ones of other people purely for greed. She and Megan are vile.
"My friend was nice to me, other people in town looked at us funny, when all she did was hack up some people!"
It a I understand like she did not have a family member in that funeral home. your family member didn't get dismembered. You're lucky. Maybe step back and look at the whole picture of what your "friend' did.

It's annoying how softly she deals with Philip - a guy who not only butchered people for profit but also couldn't have cared less if you or your loved one got HIV, cancer, hepatitis, etc from bodies he knew should never have be used for donations. She lets him play it off like he did everything ethically and legally until just the very end when he maybe made some poor choices. She characterizes his vile, mercenary motives as merely "irresponsible" and "dangerous". He sounded proud of his scheme.

I love this show but when you take out the ads the episodes are super short. it's a bummer. you barely start getting into the story and it's over.
This is enough information for a 10 minute episode drawn out for over half an hour. It repeats endlessly to the point one almost switches off. Listen to any episode of BBC Witness History to learn how a story is told in around the same time. Maybe it’s aimed at a younger audience.
The narration style makes the show. If you ever listened to old a m radio stories, you would probably appreciate it. It fits the time period of the story and is so very British. Love it.
I am gery interested in the topic but struggled with the narration style. https://www.mythdhr.biz/

Love your podcast! Please make more episodes.
I enjoy your program and wait for each episode. I also appreciate the effort you put into acting the part with your narration style. it appears in a couple of the comments that this might be a bit much for some but I suggest that perhaps they might loosen up and have a little more fun with your work.
