Description

Mission Bible Church is the home for truth. Based in Orange County, CA, we exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. As a church, we are called to carry out the Great Commandments and the Great Commission, and our mission statement was created to capture both of these critical mandates. Our mission drives everything we do, from the ministries we provide to the resources we produce.

In Acts 4, we see God’s pattern for a world-impacting church: pressure drives believers together, unity leads to prayer, prayer invites God’s power, and God’s power produces bold proclamation of the gospel. When God’s people depend on Him and courageously proclaim Christ, the gospel advances, and lives are transformed.
The law was never given to save you, elevate you, or transform you; it was given to expose your sin, shut down your pride, and drive you to Christ. The promise in Christ alone secures your inheritance, creates your identity, and gives you the life the law could never produce.
Many believers begin by trusting Christ alone, yet slowly drift into measuring their growth, identity, and assurance by performance, comparison, and external badges of spirituality. Here Paul calls us back to the blazing center of every true Reformation: we are saved, adopted, and redeemed by faith alone in Christ alone.
When Peter pulled back from Gentile believers out of fear, Paul publicly confronted him because the gospel itself was at stake: we are justified by faith in Christ alone, not by law, culture, or performance, and unbelievers will see the change in our life.
The early church fought for the gospel’s independence, refusing to add religious requirements to salvation and standing united on justification by faith alone.
Paul’s dramatic conversion, lost career, and years of obscurity prove he did not invent the gospel, inherit it from religious leaders, or adopt it for personal gain. It was revealed directly to him by the risen Jesus and is the only hope for mankind.
Paul confronts the Galatian churches with the truth that the gospel comes from God, not men, and that any attempt to add to grace through human effort is a complete distortion of Christ’s saving work.
Jesus teaches that wise money management begins with a settled heart, treasuring what lasts, not what fades, because our spending always follows our loves.
The risen Christ doesn’t just prove He is alive; He commissions ordinary, broken people to go and tell that death has been defeated and hope is real.
Jesus’ lifeless body was carefully wrapped in a burial shroud and laid in a rich man’s tomb, fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy and proving His death was real, honored, and witnessed. What looked like a sealed ending was actually God’s setup for resurrection life.
Every step of the cross—from the nails to the final cry was not forced on Jesus but freely embraced out of love for sinners. The crucifixion shows a Savior who satisfied God’s justice by choice, opening the way to God because love was willing to pay the full cost.
The Man Healed by Fire

The Man Healed by Fire

2025-12-1433:10

Peter’s greatest failure unfolded beside a charcoal fire, yet Jesus later rebuilt him beside another fire, proving that the Savior restores the very places sin once destroyed. This sermon shows how Christ exposes our denial, breaks our self-reliance, and then invites us to renewed commitment and usefulness in His service.
Pastor Connor McFarland unpacks 1 Thessalonians 5:14–15 to reveal five marks of a disciple-making church and how every believer is called to help one another grow in Christ.
This sermon calls our church to start giving church a good name by embracing a gospel-worthy reputation. Bold in witness, kind in unity, and clean in purity. When we stand firm, serve humbly, and shine brightly, we display to a watching world the supernatural reality of Christ among us.

Paul warned the Ephesian elders that Satan’s strategy to destroy the church always begins the same way by corrupting leaders, releasing wolves, and raising up warped insiders who twist truth and divide the flock. Faithful shepherds must guard the church Christ purchased with His blood.
Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20–24 reveals that the greatest threat to the church is not persecution from without but division from within and the true evidence of our faith is not uniformity of style or opinion, but supernatural love and unity that mirror the Father’s love for the Son and display Christ’s glory to the watching world.
In this message, we peer into the very heart of God as Jesus lifts His eyes toward heaven. This sacred prayer exposes the divine plan of redemption, showing that the Son’s obedience, the Father’s glory, and the believer’s salvation are forever intertwined in the love of the Godhead.
The Bible truly comes alive when we see Jesus Christ as its central purpose and theme—the One who turns confusion into clarity. From His death and resurrection to His promise of the Spirit, Christ is the key who unlocks our understanding, our access to the Father, and our fullness of joy both now and forever.
As Mission Bible celebrates its 15th birthday this message calls on believers to build visible reminders of God’s faithfulness so future generations will know His power and fear Him.
When the Holy Spirit truly touches a person, it's not about feelings or signs. Rather, it's conviction: exposing sin, revealing God’s perfect righteousness, warning of coming judgment, and guiding the believer into all truth.
