This podcast is the audio from a recent webinar on UrbanIO. Check out the webinar here. --- In this webinar Nick Fiorini showcases UrbanIO and their wireless remote condition monitoring sensor technology and demonstrates how this easy to deploy cost effective solution is revolutionizing how facilities monitor the second and third tier assets. If you have any questions about anything you saw in the video please reach out to us at support@adamscorp.com or 800-282-4165 Webinar Description: Monitoring critical equipment in a manufacturing facility can be a difficult task due to the hard-to-reach nature of some of these assets. While certain assets can be monitored via hardwired devices like IO-Link sensors, many of them are too remote to be connected to a centralized network. While these assets are still critical, they’re often neglected and can still cause unplanned downtime. Are you interested in a low-cost solution that will send you an email or text alert when these “fringe assets” begin to experience failures? Adams will give you an overview on the Urban IO product offering, common assets we monitor that are often neglected, and showcase the platform for trending data and setting alerts when issues arise.
Machine vision, 2D and 3D, can be intimidating to implement, but the technology has gotten much easier to use. And when you are having quality issues, these technologies will help prevent another bad part from getting to a customer. Interested in 100% inspection on your parts for defects, dimensions, etc? Need vision to guide a robot? Adams will walk you through the process of working with our experts to address any 2D or 3D vision need - and how to implement this technology successfully. If you have any questions about anything you heard during this webinar please reach out to Jeff Fiorini at jfiorini@adamscorp.com Link to video of webinar: https://youtu.be/z0iLyQw417w #machinevision #cognex #findingsuccesswithmachinevision
