When David Eby is coronated as BC premier on November 18,  he'll be bringing his ambitious housing plan with him. BC's soon-to-be-implemented cooling off period is designed to give would-be homebuyers an escape hatch if they make an offer on a home, only to then suffer from buyer's remorse. It's anticipated that this cooling off period will apply to real estate transactions on the Sunshine Coast, BC. This is a well intentioned, if mistimed piece of legislation.
