Beware. "It walks. It stalks. It tears the shriek out of your throat." This is a first time watch for BOTH of our hosts as they missed this over the years and went into this episode blind.  Join our hosts Tommy K (Tom Komisar) and Cameron Scott, Cinema Degeneration CEO.  Listen to us geek out about this film and the incomparable films of yesteryear only at The Grindhouse Pizzeria.  Come on in and grab yourself a slice!
We bring you the 4th episode of our show "Take Out Edition" where we will explore the realms of foreign cinema.  Our hosts will take you along their travels all over the globe while diving into some of the most lucid storytelling, savage cannibals, vengeful spirits, sadistic killers, and the post apocalyptic zombie plagued landscapes. Join us as we dissect the classics that prove sometimes fear comes with subtitles. Our hosts for the fourth voyage are  Cameron Scott and filmmaker/musician Thomas Berdinski as they take a journey in breaking down the 1989 Italian science-fiction/horror/action hybrid "SHOCKING DARK" from late director Bruno Matteo (aka Vincent Dawn). Cinema Degeneration welcomes you to enjoy some Take Out while we explore a polluted and dystopian futuristic Venice, evil corporations, killer androids and murderous aliens! It's going to be a wild ride!
On this show, our specialty is sequels, sequels, and more sequels. From the good ones, to the bad ones, to the really ugly ones, we'll be covering them all! We've got homicidal maniacs that won't stay in the grave, sci-fi epics whose stories cannot be told in a single tale, and much much more. For our 11th episode, we have chosen one the the finest slasher sequels the 1981 had to offer "FRIDAY THE 13TH 2". Directed by Steve Miner, this follow up to the original 1980 Camp Crystal Lake killer was a huge hit in the year of the slasher.  Witness the only appearance of Sackhead Jason Voorhees! Join hosts Cameron Scott and his returning co-host Tim O'Saben (of the Synapse Films Podcast), on a trip that takes us once more through the woods of Crystal Lake! It's twice the fear, twice the carnage, and twice the terror.

On Episode 14 of our show "Grindhouse Pizzeria" which is dedicated to all things encompassing Grindhouse and Exploitation genres, we will be reviewing and dissecting the Trucksploitation flick "TRUCK STOP WOMEN" from 1974.  The film was directed by Mark L. Lester (Commando, Class of 1999, Showdown In Little Tokyo) and starred such veterans as Dennis Fimple, Lieux Dressler, Claudia Jennings, and Len Lesser. Truck Stop Women is a sleazy tale about the corrupt and sordid bunch of characters working a truck stop in New Mexico and the gangsters trying to take over the business. We've got homicidal maniacs that won't stay in the grave, sci-fi epics whose stories cannot be told in a single tale, and much much more. Directed by Richard Fleischer (Red Sonja, Soylent Green, Conan The Destroyer, Mr. Majestyk), this sequel to the popular and profitable Amityville Horror series would be the last theatrical chapter. This 3D 'epic' stars Tony Roberts (Popcorn, Serpico) as a reporter who buys the infamous Amityville house only to find out the tales of the evil and supernatural are true. On our show, "Howling At The Full Moon" for our 16th episode we're tackling our first ever Full Moon sequel with the 2009 horror comedy "EVIL BONG 2: KING BONG."   This stoner sequel would see the return of such wild characters of Rabbit (Sonny Carl Davis) and Cyril (Jacob Witkin) in much larger roles this time around.
