Description

Inside Alabama’s prisons, thousands of men live in overcrowded dormitories with minimal supervision, facing a near constant threat of violence and sexual assault. Now, if conditions don’t improve, a federal judge could intervene. The crisis, decades in the making, is at a tipping point. Through the stories of people impacted by the system and the people in charge, Deliberate Indifference reveals how we got here - and what’s next - for Alabama’s prisons.

My husband is in a north Alabama prison, and this is seen daily! we pray daily of course, but especially on store day(Tuesday's). He said that could take your life just for being able to stand in line, much less anything else. there's been waaay to many stabbings! there's maybe 1 Co at night if their lucky and it's only a couple nights a week someone is there. He was supposed to have been moved outta of max facility into a min-out after he graduated SAP and other programs, but when I call AL Doc Montgomery, all they've said is they don't what to tell me. The Co's when you call are rude as can be! you can NEVER get info on anything. Me and my husband and ones he's told inside are VERY HAPPY this is happening! in the podcast it was mentioned that they could contact threw a collect call. is there anyway I can get the info?there's several so far that would speak
