Brian McInnis also joins the show, as he does every Friday, to talk about the local news, including the Maui Invitational being in trouble.

Yup, the Golden Bears took the spot and it's a newsworthy clash between two former Hawaii quarterbacks now head coaches as well as two good freshman QBs. Gary talks with Mark Veneri as per normal on Friday's during the season and talk about the bowl game and Hawaii's mentality going into it. Then he talks with Rainbow Wahine basketball head coach Laura Beeman to discuss some of the ups and downs of their season so far as they just played their first Big West Conference game of the season.
