This month on TDDP I am very excited to be joined by Dr. Melissa Seibert - Comprehensive dentist with the United States Air Force, host of the popular Dental Digest Podcast, and self-admitted "Leslie Knope" of dental education. Sit in as we discuss everything from the pros and cons of guided implant placement, to the different ways providers can leverage digital dental data to anticipate treatment plan challenges, to getting over the dreaded Imposter Syndrome.
In this special session of The Digital Dental Podcast, we've invited a panel of CAD/CAM experts to discuss a variety of topics, from the future of milling and 3D printing, to the growing trend of lab work being done in the clinic. Listen in on the conversation with Jordan Greenberg of Follow-Me! Technologies, Dr. Mike DeFee of The MOD Institute, Dave Carballyera of exocad America, and Commander Trey Harper of the US Navy Dental Corps in front of a live audience at LabDay Chicago 2023.
For session 10 of The Digital Dental Podcast, my guest is Joe Santos, owner of Virtual Axis 109 Dental Design. Together with his wife Hazel, Joe has built Virtual Axis up to be a premier boutique all-digital dental lab specializing in next-day full-arch restorations made 100% in-house.  CLICK HERE to sign up for The Digital Dental Podcast LIVE at LabDay Chicago 2023!
For Session 9 of The Digital Dental Podcast, my guest is Dr. Ouassim Salmi, Clinical Manager of the innovative jaw motion tracking technology company, MODJAW. Join us as Dr. Salmi covers the history of the company and the myriad of ways that tracking and recording patients' functional mandibular motion can dramatically improve clinical outcomes. (Please excuse the less-than-stellar recording quality, as we had some technical issues with this month's session)
For this month's DDP we're hanging out with Bobby Clark of Clark Dental Lab - a small but highly capable full service laboratory in Weatherford TX that focuses on full-arch fixed hybrid restorations. Listen in as Bobby shares his experience regarding in-sourced titanium milling, working with family, and taking an atypical approach to restoring functionality to patients with special needs.
In this month's DDP we depart from our standard format to visit the third bi-annual exocad Insights event, hosted in Mallora Spain. Join me as I sit down and chat with Mike van der Willigen Gatsonides of Adite Technology, Pinhas Adar of Adar Dental, Adrienne Slevin of 3D Systems, and Diz Benliro of Klydent Dental Studios to discuss their thoughts on the event,  learn how digital dental technology impacts these four very different businesses, and share some laughs at exocad Insights.
For session 6 of TDDP my guest is Dr. Avinash Bidra, Program Director and Clinical Professor for Post-Graduate Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry. Sit in with Dr. Bidra and I as we discuss how dental labs have shaped the digital revolution, why it is so important for dental educators to practice what they preach, and much more.
Session 5 of TDDP features BJ Kowalski, President & CEO of Roe Dental Laboratory - a lab that has been in business for nearly 100 years. Join BJ and I as we talk about how the business transitioned from analog to digital, what Roe Dental does to prioritize innovation, and why it is that, when looking for new equipment, BJ likes to do things a little bit backward.
This month on TDDP, hang-out with  Mark Rozenberg from exocad America and I as we delve into topics such as how CAD/CAM processes affect business efficiency, how selling 'features and benefits' is dead, and why mad scientists are our favorite. Also, listen in as Mark gives us an idea of what to look forward to at exocad's upcoming Insights event, being hosted this October in Mallorca, Spain.
For session 3 of The Digital Dental Podcast, my guest is Prosthodontist & Advanced Digital Dentistry Specialty Leader for the US Navy, Commander Trey Harper. In this extended one-hour interview, listen in as CDR Harper and I discuss everything from the need for higher resolution intra-oral scanning, to the benefit of milled PMMA provisionals, to the future of additive manufacturing in Digital Dentistry.
This month on The Digital Dental Podcast my guest is Jim Ament, president of Toothsmiths Inc - a full-service lab that is embracing the digital process. Listen in as Jim and I discuss how CAD/CAM dentistry has changed his business, and how the right communication can improve efficiency and promote better outcomes for both the lab and the clinic.
In this episode of The Digital Dental Podcast my guest is Jordan Greenberg, managing director of Follow-Me! Technologies North America, developers of the industry-leading hyperDENT software suite. Join Jordan and I as we geek out on milling technology, and look ahead at what's to come as dental CAM gets both more seamless and more sophisticated.
