I am very troubled by the bi-partite view of the sin of selfishness (let's call narcissism what it is) that sounds very Romish (AKA Roman Catholic where they classify sin as venal [lesser] and mortal [deadly]), where behaviors of selfishness are being divorced from one's character for some people (presumably well-heeled christians) while placing the entire burden upon one's character (and irredeemably so) on those abusive, narcissists who can't seem to get with the program of moralism. I in no way deny the presence of deeply and depravely sinful people among us. In fact, the bible is clear that ALL are depraved and fall short of the glory of God and that Christ's atoning work WILL regenerate the whole person (those who believe and follow) and that His sanctifying grace will work in us to will and to do for His good pleasure as we grow in faith by Christ. For nothing is impossible for God. This episode leads to a despairing and blasphemous view of God. In fact, this episode hardly ment

Like our country's degenerating education system, this podcast tells you what to think, rather than teaching you how to think biblically about issues. As a woman, I'm beginning to suspect that many women make the worst thinkers about life's issues from a biblical worldview, so loaded down by worldly systems: psychology (godless), sociology & feminism (godless). This podcast tries to combine a secular world view with Christian principles. they also raise personal experience (standpoint epistomology) over the truth of scripture.. Whenever we do this we invariably teach error at best and heresy at worst. It doesn't matter how well intentioned or sincere these women are. At best, they teach error on more than a few issues.

in your last episode, you accused complementarians of being fixated on the idea of authority. it seems that you are the one guilty of it. hardly a month goes by without you coming back to it.

Thank you very much for this episode! It has been very helpful in understanding what federal vision is and the doctrinal errors found within it.
