Ruben Miller spent 22 years at the frontline of forensic science in New Zealand. He stood in bedrooms and backyards, alongside bodies and the aftermath of extreme violence, quietly gathering evidence and maintaining professional composure. Working on over 160 forensic homicide investigations took its toll. In 2022, he was diagnosed with complex PTSD and soon after left his job.
