Welcome in to a new rendition of the dads in progress podcast. Manager turned host Tai makes her first appearance in this capacity. The guys touch on changes briefly and recap Father’s Day. Sport poses the question are you the type of person that people feel they can talk to? We also dive into the word transition what does it mean to you? How has your life change and was it noticeable? This is the relaunch a different messenger, but the same message.

The theme this week is self care. Firstly, the fellas discuss skin care routines. As a man, do you have a skin care routine? Next, we discuss critical therapy vs. ongoing therapy. The dads discuss the differences between both and their experiences. Moving on, manufacturing hard times for your children. How do you balance between creating a easier life and manufacturing hard times to build character? Lastly, what men can’t do.

With Ski back in the gang all in full attendance, this week felt more like the Norm. The guys break down Jeezy NPR Tiny Desk Concert. Numerous Fake celebrity nudes surfaced. Posing the question of what will the Nude exchange look like with Ai on the rise. A 50 Part TikTok was the latest craze of the week, Heav gave the guys a brief overview. Do guys use dating Apps? Closing out with the balance of making your kids do things or letting them blaze a trail of their own.

Episode 73 with Sport & Heav as a duo this week. We discussed the Grammys and Jay Z‘s controversial acceptance speech. As the guys kick off season two in Ski absence, Tai appears as a guest host. Announcement of Tai’s role going forward with the guys is made. A story that has stretched out the last four months regarding a woman accusations on TikTok, referred to as the brick lady and effect it has on women going through domestic situation. Usher grace the Vogue Magazine Cover becoming only the second black non-actor to do so. The cover left much to desire with the agenda. The guys debate was it harmless or not? To wear a dress or not to wear a dress. The bi racial agenda is it harmful or is it harmless? What’s next in store for the DIPP? All on this introductory episode to kick off 2024.

Another week, another pod! If you could commit a crime, for the sake of that crime never being committed again by anyone, what crime would you pick? The fellas weigh in on what they would choose and Ski picks the “safest” crime. Next, if no one told you today, you look handsome king! The fellas discuss men complimenting other men. They go on to discuss the reasons why men are unable to compliment each other, and/or receive compliments from other men. Lastly, the DIPP dads discuss the guilt that may come with success and being unapologetically grateful.

After a little hiatus, the guys are back with Episode 69! We kick it off tallying up the “black movies” social media poll and find out if Sport was telling the truth about his number. Next, congratulations to the Los Angeles Lakers on being the first ever NBA In-Season Tournament Champions. The fella’s discuss their take of the NBA’s newest addition to the season. The dad’s go on to discuss a Shiesty-less Philadelphia and what that means for the city. They touch on the idea behind why the youth wears ski masks and the comparison between the city and suburbs. Next, how do you feel about men taking a woman’s last name in marriage? The fellas discuss Ricky Williams and his idea of taking his wife’s last name in order to bring the relationship “balance”.
