what happened to new episodes??????
this was a great story but Paul's CONSTANT "umm" made it difficult to listen to
Can you type the website somewhere here because I love this show
There were three hundred handers. Plus, in some versions Gaia gave birth to Uranus. Finally, what about Erebus, Nyx, their kids, and primordial Eros?
Cracking up with all the Drew Barrymore references 😂
I love listening to the both of you! I've been in love with Greek mythology for decades thanks to my family of storytellers. To the story of Pandora, I've heard it from multiple tellers (sorry no documented sources) that it was creatures in the box bringing forth pain, famine, different woes to mankind. The creature she managed to keep in the box was the worst if then all- it knew and foretold all your suffering for the rest of your life. By keeping that one in the box, mankind could hold onto hope for a better tomorrow/future from the suffering of their present. That's the version I really like, and if you haven't heard it that way- I hope you do too.
I love Wesley crusher!!!!
I love the humor and the commentaries. These guys are very entertaining.
I love this podcast!!! Binged all the episodes in a couple of days oops 😅 Informative and I love the fun and friendly discourse! I had originally heard that when Medusa and Poseidon were caught in Athena's temple that Poseidon had actually raped Medusa and then she was further punished (for something that wasn't her fault) by Athena for desecration of the sacred space. Considering how commonplace rape seems to be in Greek mythology I don't think it's a stretch to say that this is what happened but as I haven't actually read any of the tales for myself and I rely on the interpretations of other podcasters I can't be too sure. After burning through the podcast Let's Talk About Myths Baby I needed more mythology in my life and I'm very glad to have found your podcast!
The "Witch town" is "Halloween Town". There were like, 3 sequels. 😂
The Cassandra part of the ending ad was one of the best ads I've heard yet! 😂 Clearly, you've gone places. Across the pond! XD
why can't I find this musical ANYWHERE?
Wow great music u guys r so creative
Couldn't get into this one. Had to turn it off during the two minutes of the girl's talking about the horoscope myths as is they were real.
Thanatos doesn't kill he just collects special circumstance souls.
i love the intro song. It reminds me of the show Series of Unfortunate events.
This is by far my favorite podcast! I listen to it every day at work, and I love Sarah and her hilarious comments about how awful the gods are! 😂 Paul is a great story teller, and he could be making half of this up, or pronouncing the words wrong, and it's still amazing! I just love listening to these to tell a story and add in their own twist and commercials! Keep up the good work. 😘 Bye Philecia 😂😂😂
This show is awesome and Sarah is beautiful
He IS a great guest! :)
Susan Egan, not Bernadette Peters
