We’re throwing it back the furthest we’ve ever gone! Episode 67 is all about “Juice!” Yes 91’ the cult classic about 4 truant kids having fun and hustling for ends meet goes dark by movies end. We discuss whether this is was truly a horror film or a crime drama. We also talk about the difference between Day 1s versus Day 2s. Does anyone know the age of the cast in this movie ?! We’re reviving “Agree to Disagree” and we debate if the crew was really weak or was Q right! And of course , WAS IT GOOD THOUGH!

Ahead of the release of the latest Mortal Kombat game dropping this week the crew, along with special guest host Finesse, decided to review the 2021 installment of Mortal Kombat! While the movie was a toss up there was a lot of potential within this film we wanted to discuss as well as our time in with the game. Also this week, ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! The NFL season has kicked and everybody is claiming their teams and dressed out in their football gear! While we know the results at the top of the episode we won’t be dragging Jazz across the coals today! It’s been 24 years since the last theatrical release and ahead of the release the studios dropped a 7 minute clip of the introduction of the film and we debate of this was good or bad . We also decide who’s the better fighter between Bi-Han (Subzero) or Hanzo (Scorpion) and we discuss their changed background in the latest Mortal Kombat 1 and how we feel about that . In 2020 there’s an animated movie called “Scorpion’s Revenge” which follows Hanzo however in this iteration the story follows Cole… someone who’s never been in the game but created for the story of the movie and no one is feeling this change and we have a plethora of characters from the games who could’ve been leading characters. This episode gets off the rails so please listen with caution lol and of course WAS IT GOOD THOUGH?! Spoiler alert lol…

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, heroes in a half shell TURTLE POWER! The crew is back with 2 returning guest, Chris and Crystal , as we discuss the latest Ninja Turtle’s movie! We’re discussing the crews first introduction to the turtles! What did they did everything think of the heart of the story! Was high school what we expected it to be! Chris gives us the meaning behind each weapon the turtles carry. We also discuss the fighting montage scene and if “No Diggity” fits the scene and what we’d use instead ! And the most daring question of allll, was it good though?!!

Birdbox was a phenomenon back in 2018 , so when the announcement of a sequel, Birdbox: Barcelona , was coming we had to jump on this review! Since Episode 64 was about a pandemic in Barcelona we had to get our own international homeboy, Jason bka JR! We try to get in the psyche of why “Birdbox” was such a phenom , however the new movie didn’t seem to get as much love as the first film. We’re discussing the POV the movie is filmed from and how we felt about it! Jason has been begging for it and we’ll see if this stands up. “I Let You In!” For the 63rd time however It’s time we discuss “Talk To Me” and some are calling this the best horror movie of the year and the best horror film since “Hereditary!” We’re bringing back our horror movie aficionado Chris to help break down this nail biter of a film. Jazz and Chris recently went to comic con and we discuss some blunders on their last outing. The introduction of a horror film sets the tone for what you’re getting and we’re definitely doing a breakdown of this one shot, eerie scene and the lack of awareness today when and within the film of spectators. We’re going back 10 years before Ben Adair Kingsley was a household name and Brad Pitt was at his peak with his production company and acting! If you haven’t figure out yet , we’re reviewing “World War Z!” Post Quarantine PSTD set in, because we are still in the Covid era , just watching how this disease spread and rapidly within the movie. We’re discussing our favorite Zombie movies and how wild the zombies were within this one. Also fun game, take a shot for every time we say “intense” lol! Of course we say if this movie still stands up 10 years later and most importantly, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH!?

Joy Ride released in theaters in July and this ensemble film was hilarious and we did our best to match the energy given throughout this film with special guest and 3 time visitor, Crystal!. Episode 60 is about “They Cloned Tyrone” streaming currently on Netflix and it’s making a lot of waves on social media and we wanted a piece, just not the chicken! There’s a lot of hidden messages and deeper meanings however , at face value this movie is still very entertaining. We discuss our favorite British Actors and where we’d like to see John Boyega next! We give flowers to the cast but also we discuss Jamie Foxx and fan entitlement. Since we’re a movie pod, of course Jazz wanted to name all the references she caught within the movie .
