Christina & Elle are back for the final review of this year’s Would You Marry Me? It stars Jung Seo-min (Because This Is My First Life, Love Next Door) and Choi Woo-shik (Our Beloved Summer, Parasite). Jung Seo-min ends a bad relationship and needs to act quickly to secure a new house in a private community—and ironically finds a man with the exact same name as her ex. Christina & Elle watched the first two episodes of Dynamite Kiss and HAD to do an impromptu Through Two because this drama has to be talked about!Dynamite Kiss is giving a classic romantic-comedy feel, and the Pod Sisters couldn’t be more excited.Dynamite Kiss stars the lovely Ahn Eun-jin (My Dearest, The Good Bad Mother, Hospital Playlist) and the dashing Jang Ki-yong (The Atypical Family, My Roommate Is a Gumiho). Eun-jin plays Da-rim, a woman who is struggling to find a job after countless years of interviewing, and Ki-yong plays Ji-hyeok, the leader of a baby products company.The chemistry is CHEMISTRY-ING. The sparks are flying. Da-rim is so sweet and kind, and Ji-hyeok is determined and super swoony. Came for Ji Chang-wook + D.O., stayed for legit EVERYTHING…..We’re loving this, y’all. And Maddie typically never watches psychological thrillers (like literally ever). But this show is doinggggg ittttt forrrr ussss.….The Manipulated is a new 12-episode kdrama about a normal (hot) guy who gets framed for a gruesome murder and seeks revenge on the man who framed him. If you live in America, it can literally only be found on KOCOWA, which makes it super non-accessible. But we are here to say - GET THAT 2 WEEK KOCOWA FREE TRIAL NOW. GET IT NOW.…..Maddie and Christina watched the first two episodes of The Tale of Lady Ok and their jaws are on the floor. OMG it’s so good. They can’t even describe it, and they don’t want to spoil the plot - just take their word for it. BON APPETIT, LEE CHAE-MIN….A lot can be said about this drama. It held its own on the U.S. Netflix Top 10. It consisted of MANY different genres. It had a (conveniently wrapped up) happy ending. But, at the end of the day, all that we need to say is: Lee Chae-min is hot. …..LIKE, REALLY HOT…..Did he and Yoona have good chemistry? What did we think about the 3-episode-long Ming County Cooking Showdown? Why was Elle’s favorite character the dude that invented the airplane? The girls talk it all on this full review episode!…..We hope you enjoy this pod review even more than the King enjoys Yoona’s food!!!
