What does pizza have to do with humility? Also... what is humility? Pizza is our all time favorite food. And to be honest, we love pizza so much. No matter where it's from, we love them all. Any of you feel the same? In today's episode, Jerry thinks of his friend Zoe and Kara first and gives them an opportunity to rank some pizzas. That's showing some true humility. By thinking of others before himself, Jerry reminded us that even if we feel jealous or want the best thing or want to go first, we can take a moment to do a vibe check and choose to think about others. And we can do it with a good attitude and a smile. If not bitter or angry, we should be happy to think about their feelings and give them the chance to go first or have something they want. Friends, we have so much fun hanging out each week, singing and learning about what it means to do a vibe check of our lives. Remember, when you start to feel like you want to go first or you want the best thing, you can do a vibe check and think about others. That's one of the best attitudes to have. So thanks for joining us at Church at home today!Remember, you can check out our campus locations to find a saddleback kid near you and come visit us sometime. We'd love to see you there. Don't forget we have some awesome activity sheets, coloring pages, and even some stuff for your parents online@saddlebackkids.com. Check it out and we'll see you here next week.

Use these questions as a guide to talk over this week’s lesson, The Thankful Leper, with your child after they’ve watched the video service! What was your favorite part of the video we just watched? Do you have any questions about what you saw? What was leprosy? How do you think the lepers felt before Jesus healed them?It was a terrible disease that caused sores on their bodies and was very contagious. They were probably in pain and lonely because no one could touch them or be near them. How does being thankful affect our attitude? It helps us focus on the good things in our lives, it can make us smile, and it can help our whole attitude turn around. It reminds us of the things God has done for us and given us! What are some things you can be thankful to Jesus for?His love and that he died on the cross to save us. That we can live with him forever in Heaven. The things he has given us, the nature we are surrounded by, the friends we have, etc. Consider hanging a “thankful poster” somewhere in your home. Each family member can add things they are grateful for throughout the week. At the end of the week, read everything on the list together and say a prayer of thanks together. If you do make a thankful poster, take a picture of it and send it to us at info@lumivoz.com Parent Devotional - Vibe CheckHey parents!
