Tune into a great episode with Andrew Burnham, discussing being a ramp controller, dispatcher, pilot, and photographer. Andrew Burnham is an FAA licensed dispatcher, private pilot of 10 years, and an avid aviation photographer. He works for a growing part 135 operator, Jet Edge International, in Columbus, Ohio. He studied air traffic control at Kent State University with a minor in aircraft dispatch. Aviation is a way of life, and he is constantly looking for ways to help other individuals find their first step into this growing and exciting industry. He strives to learn something new each day because "you never know what you'll see once you walk through that door." There are so many skills that Andrew has learned both professionally and as a hobby that he applies to his everyday life. A few things struck me... when asked what the best lesson he has learned thus far has been, his answer was "Patience and Persistence." Andrew lives in Ohio and is a Dispatcher for JetEdge. I hope you can tune into this fun conversation with Andrew. Be sure to connect with Andrew on Facebook and Instagram (you have to check out his photography)!
