Ep. 972 - As of Monday, the Cardinals are one of four teams still with vacancy signs lit for their head coach position. So, what does it all mean? Craig Grialou and Dani Sureck dive into the coaching search, one that appears to be nearing its conclusion as the reported field of candidates has narrowed. Also, Craig and Dani look back at Championship Sunday, look ahead to Super Bowl Sunday, and then, don’t look now, but mock draft season is officially underway.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Ep. 971 - First it was Trey McBride. Now it’s Will Johnson. Both have been honored by the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) for their play this past season. Johnson most recently was selected to the All-Rookie Team. That distinction led to a much broader discussion about the Cardinals’ current collection of cornerbacks. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman break down the room, highlighting Johnson and fellow rookie Denzel Burke. Craig and Zach also wonder about the status - the health status - of Garrett Williams, Starling Thomas, and Sean Murphy-Bunting. Plus, the two give their thoughts on Championship Sunday. Of course, that all follows an update on the search for a new head coach.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In a rare video-less version of the podcast, Paul Calvisi, Darren Urban and Dani Sureck - true humans, no AI here - are still saving for the future as well as wondering who the Cardinals will get as their new coach. That’s the big topic as the Cards sort through the multiple names for interviews, as well as the possibility of getting an NFC West assistant, the benefit of previous head coaching experience, a new Getting Cultured, how every postseason game will be outdoors, Drew Petzing’s new gig, Marvin Harrison Jr.’s frustrating season and the big offseason decisions facing the team, and an all-NFC West NFC Championship.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Cardinals’ search for a new head coach has reportedly added a new name to the mix. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi break down the latest developments in the NFL head coaching cycle. Plus, a closer look at the offensive line highlighting where left tackle Paris Johnson excelled and where he can improve heading into the 2026 season. Ep. 970 - Six categories. A 13-member voting panel. The results? Well, in a season that didn’t go as expected, there were still plenty of individuals and moments that shined over 17 games. And with that, Craig Grialou, Zach Gershman and Dani Sureck invite you, the Bird Gang, to the 2025 Cardinals Awards. Together, the three announce and then discuss - maybe even disagree with - the selected winners. Following the awards ceremony, Craig, Zach and Dani update the Cardinals’ coaching search as two new names - Texans DC Matt Burke and Steelers OC Arthur Smith - have reportedly been linked to the job, as of Wednesday; and then they offer their thoughts on the four games this weekend in the Divisional Round.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
There’s no offseason for Paul Calvisi, Darren Urban and Dani Sureck, not this time of year, and certainly not as the Cardinals seek out a new head coach. Our fearless trio discuss some of the reported names that have drawn the Cardinals’ interest, the NFL landscape with nine coaching vacancies, the newest twist now that Mike Tomlin stepped down from the Steelers, whether to go with an offensive or defensive mind, how the draft class will impact the NFL’s QB musical chairs, LIV-ing it up in an episode of Getting Cultured, Trey McBride and his All-Pro status, the playoffs and the NFC West, and Paul’s new power poll he’s excited to release to the public.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Arizona Cardinals’ search for a new head coach enters its second week. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi, and former Cardinals linebacker Rob Fredrickson break down the latest reported candidates. Plus, Trey McBride earned his first All-Pro selection, but it wasn’t unanimous, falling one vote short. How does that happen? The crew also recaps NFL Wild Card Weekend and previews the exciting matchups in the Divisional Round.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 969 - The number is 10. Ten reported names the Cardinals have either requested or scheduled an interview with for their vacant head coaching position. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman go over the 10 names - wait, make that 11 names as the name John Harbaugh surfaced mid-show. They detail backgrounds, including previous experience at the head coach level. Is that an important factor? What is important to know is that the search is still in the early stages. Craig and Zach also discuss the players’ reaction to the coaching change, assistant coaches on the move, Trey McBride earning All-Pro status before questioning why his selection wasn’t unanimous, and then the guys dive into Wild Card Weekend; the dominance of the NFC West can be seen as both good and bad news for the Arizona Cardinals.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It’s an all-football C.U. to wrap the season - no football withdrawal yet, Paul Calvisi - as our esteemed trio of Paul, Darren Urban and Dani Sureck talk a coaching change, the struggles of the team all season, expectations at the start of the season, battling the rest of the NFC West, reported candidates for coaching interviews, a Carson Palmer suggestion, the NFL rules on coaching interviews, what kind of coach the Cardinals should seek, what happens at QB, getting a quick turnaround and what opponents the Cards will see in 2026.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
After a three-year tenure that ended with a 3-14 finish in 2025 and a 15-36 overall record, the Cardinals have parted ways with Jonathan Gannon and will soon usher in a different era with the hiring of a new head coach. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi and former NFL linebacker Lorenzo Alexander break down what went wrong in 2025, how injuries and inconsistency derailed a season that began with promise, and why ownership and GM Monti Ossenfort decided it was time to pivot. They also look ahead to the next head coach inheriting a roster with upside in 2026, including young players who gained valuable experience in 2025 and standout talents like tight end Trey McBride and wide receiver Michael Wilson, who enjoyed a breakout season.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 968 - Change is inevitable in the NFL. And the Arizona Cardinals wasted no time in making the first of what his expected to be several changes following a 3-14 season. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi react to the firing of head coach Jonathan Gannon. The two then discuss what owner Michael Bidwill and GM Monti Ossenfort had to say. The theme of their 23-minute press conference was a pretty simple one: wins and losses matter; and the Cardinals didn’t win enough games in the three seasons under Gannon. So, now what? What’s the next step in the search for a new coach and what might the decision-makers be looking for in a new man in charge. Finally, it is a Monday, and for one last Monday, Paul - with some assistance from Craig - names his Angry Bird Award winner.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Dave Pasch and A.Q. Shipley provide instant reaction to the Cardinals 37-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the 2025 season finale at SoFi Stadium. Ep. 967 - The number 1,000 carries a lot of significance, especially in the NFL. It’s a number that helps define whether a season was a success or not among skill position players, like wide receivers. On Sunday, Michael Wilson needs 93 receiving yards to hit the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career. It would, as he said this week, be a “heck of an achievement” considering how the season started. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman talk about Wilson’s year, his recent run of success and then dive into the matchup against the L.A. Rams; it’s the last opportunity for a lot of players to make one last impression. Plus, for one final time, Craig and Zach head into enemy territory. They speak with Stu Jackson, senior staff writer for therams.com.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 749 - The final game of the 2003 season against the Vikings was supposed to be a formality for the Cardinals. However, it turned into one of the most consequential moments in franchise history. Paul Calvisi and Darren Urban recount how an obscure Cardinals receiver made the biggest play of his life, winning the game in the finals seconds while sending shockwaves through three NFL cities. That single catch by Nathan Poole pushed the Packers into the playoffs, broke the hearts of Vikings fans, cost the Cardinals the top pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, and ultimately reshaped the top of the draft itself. What followed months later would forever alter the trajectory of the Cardinals organization.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

show sucks
Wasn't there however there are a few forums suggesting Murray was ok, again wasn't there so maybe they are down playing it.
Think there is a lot of fans who are cautiously reserved about 2019 season (after the chosen Rozen fiasco) but hopefully Wolfe is right about the schemes and offensive upgrades.
Good luck Josh Rosen this Sunday beat the Seahawks... it's time to protect our house.....time is now.....
