We remember Fort Elliott HC Holly Lindley who passed away unexpectedly this weekend.  Bushland fell to Goliad in the state finals as the only area squad in the state finals.  A look at all the area round action of TXHSFB as Gruver, Bovina and Miami picked up big wins.  WT High and Spearman were impressive and CISD has advanced all three schools to the next round.
Friday morning Bushland volleyball will look to three peat against Goliad in a matchup of two outstanding squads.  Lots of notes on WT including a $1.5 million dollar endowment for softball, football is bowl bound and volleyball starts LSC conference tournament action.  Plus, we have a full look at the second round of TXHSFB playoffs impacting Texas Panhandle and South Plains teams.  Can PD take down Anna?  Will Panhandle top Cisco?  Can Gruver upset Wink?  Listen in for a full breakdown of each game and names to know.
The 2025 TXHSFB playoffs hit the ground running as Spearman and Bovina grab big wins.  Palo Duro and District 2-4A rolled while Amarillo High saw it's crazy week end in a high-scoring loss.  Listen in for a full recap of the bi-district action across the area.  WT rallied from down 20 to get a signature win over Angelo St.  Plus, Bushland volleyball is one step from a state title,again!
The high school football playoffs are here and we bring in Matt Stepp of Dave Campbell's Football to discuss his trip to the Panhandle, impressive teams and more.  We take a look at each region impacting area teams as well as preview all of the bi-district action from 6A to Six-Man.  Plus, the Jim Wilcoxson Showcase is this weekend where you can see a multitude of players on our 20 girls to watch list for this year.
Friday was a wild time as the UIL stripped Amarillo High of six wins for using an ineligible player but AHS tops Tascosa and gets help to force a tie.  A late night gas station coin flip goes AHS way to advance to the playoffs.  Palo Duro, Shallowater and Valley grab district titles plus all you need to know about the final week of the TXHSFB season.  Randall and Bushland are the remaining local volleyball schools in the playoffs as both move on to the Regional Finals.
Round two of the high volleyball playoffs saw area teams continue to march on as Amarillo High, Tascosa, Lubbock Cooper, Bushland and others advance with ease into the Regional Semifinals.  The final week of the TXHSFB season is upon us as teams jockey for playoff spots.  Big games dot the landscape led by Amarillo High/Tascosa, Palo Duro/Abilene Cooper, Shallowater/Dalhart and others.  Plus, news and notes on playoff seeding and more. 
Canyon won both the boys and girls title at the state XC meet with Addi Bristow setting a new conference record.  Volleyball playoffs have taken off and area teams dominated as a large contingent moved on to the regional quarterfinals.  Week 10 TXHSFB recap as Hunter Trusler was dominant in Dalhart's win over Bushland, Wheeler takes down Wellington plus all the news and notes for all games across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains.
