The 2025 TXHSFB season is a wrap as Hamilton and Muenster took titles, Carthage and Gordon dominated plus other highlights from four days of football action. The UIL conference cutoff numbers were released as we gear for realignment in February. Palo Duro, West Plains, Perryton and Canadian stayed put but multiple area schools will be moving conferences. Plus, district basketball action is in full swing as we look at the highlights from Tuesday and Friday action.
Both West Texas High and Gruver fell short of the state finals in TXHSFB. The Comanches struggled to finish off several drives while the Greyhounds give up a long touchdown pass in the fourth to fall to Muenster. We recap the All-Press Pass Volleyball team led by MVP Aaniyah Kitchens from West Plains. Plus, a look at district basketball action and Kale gives his final thoughts on John Cena.
West Texas High and Gruver are both one step away from the biggest stage in TXHSFB as they chase gold balls Thursday night. WT High will look to supply Hamilton with a large dose of Cayde Winters as they try for their first ever state finals appearance. Gruver faces Muenster for the second straight year looking to avenge a big loss. Can Gruver pull off the big upset? The state quarterfinals in TXHSFB has five area teams lookingn to move on. West Plains are heavy underdogs to Stephenville just as they were a year ago. Idalou gets a second chance at Wall. WT High will look to run by Cisco and Gruver/Stratford meet for the second time this year in Canyon.
