Welcome back for another episode of Christian Conspiracy Coalition. Deuteronomy 3:16 states "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never forsake you".  The bible tells us again and again, fear not, do not be afraid. Through its various phrases we are told roughly some 365 times not to be afraid. Even Frank Herbert the author of Dune coined the phrase amongst his characters dialogue, "fear is the mind killer" and this is very true. Fear has inability to make the strongest men buckle at the knees, the smartest person lose all focus and yes it can at times make the most devout Christian waver.  So why is it that we seem to see this subtle fear campaign when it comes to preaching of End Times prophecy? Why Does the return of Christ seem to worry some of our flock? Welcome back everyone! Today I have something new and exciting for you all. By now you already know I enjoy a good film breakdown and analysis, but I have yet to tackle a book review. Well today is the day and I couldn't think of anyone more well read than my good friend Heidi Luv from the Unfiltered Rise Podcast.  We are calling these little collaborations 'The Unfiltered Point'. This topic is often considered to be a fringe and controversial conspiracy theory, myth or stereotype when it comes to African American communities.  But as we all know there is always an element of truth when in comes to such things. This was more a deep dive and long form discussion about the historical, cultural and sociopolitical impacts on African American culture and maybe just maybe "ceiling birds" may just have something to do with it. African American culture and history is incredibly nuanced and complex. The intention of today's show is to turn a silly little internet theory or stereotype into a genuine conversation about the history of the United States and how African Americans form an integral part of that history. Born from concerns over overpopulation, environmental degradation, and economic instability, this proposal sought to address humanity's growing crises through regional cooperation and sustainable governance.  On the surface it has been pitched to the masses as means of solving all the worlds issues, yet festering below the surface of this very obvious facade is the blueprint for globalised authoritarian control and even hints at biblical prophecy. Revelation 17:12-14 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. That's right Julia and I are back with another childhood favourite film breakdown with the 1990 fantasy, melodrama 'Edward Scissor Hands'.  Edward Scissor Hands written and directed by Tim Burton is a modern day fairytale which tells the story of Edward, a man created by eccentric inventor who died before finishing him. Edward is left incomplete with scissors where he should have hands. One day when the local Avon lady representative (Peg) calls at the historic mansion where he has been living alone, she takes him home to stay with her family. He has to adapt to the new life and environment that he isn't used to. Soon he shows a talent in cutting hair and hedges and wins everyone's hearts.But life isn't always so sweet, at first everyone welcomes him into the community, but soon things begin to take a change for the worse. Julia and I will continue to breakdown our childhood favourites in the coming months, watch this space! Last breakdown was all about suburban serial killers and satanism!
