The Blue Jays kick off the postseason with a bang, blowing the doors off the Yankees 10-1 in Game 1. Vladdy legacy game, Kirk legacy game, ace stuff from the Gas man. Tomorrow, they look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead behind rookie sensation Trey Yesavage.
Hudson hops on the pod before Game 1 to break down the ALDS matchup vs the Yankees. The roster is out with a couple last-minute surprises, and it is time to go. Time to win.
The dream regular season ended in fitting fashion on Sunday, with the Blue Jays clinching their 7th division title ever at the Rogers Centre. Hudson breaks down the last week of the thrilling season and looks ahead to the ALDS, as the Jays enjoy a week off. Now the real fun begins, let's hang some banners.
The Blue Jays have punched their ticket to the 2025 postseason, but more work lies ahead as they look to clinch the AL East this week. 6 games remain, and the Jays look to finish the dream season on the right note after a recent offensive slide. Now we go.
Top pitching prospect Trey Yesavage is here and ready to shove, and we're so ready. As a sidenote, the Blue Jays sweep the O's to further strengthen their grip on the division. Vibes are high, and playoff baseball is oh so close. Rays, Royals, Redsox next!
Another week and another pod?? Is this some sort of consistency on the 500 Level? Anyway, the Toronto Blue Jays take 2 of 3 from the Astros after dropping 2 of 3 to the Yanks. Bo is out, but IKF is back, and we're feeling heiney. Jeff Hoffman and Brandon Little are taking years off our lives. Here comes the home stretch... PLAY LEVELS.
Misha finally rejoins Hudson on the pod after a long absence, and the Blue Jays are in the midst of yet another "biggest series of the season". This offense is nails. Springer is otherworldly, Bo is in MVP form, and Vlad is heating up again. Did we mention Alejandro Kirk? The pitching, on the otherhand leaves a lot do be desired. Now is the time to turn it around. #PlayLevels
The Boys are back post-game to recap the 8-4 win on Sunday over the Brewers. The Jays are now back to a 3.0 game lead in the AL East. Where were you for the Tommy Nance Game?
The Blue Jays are facing some adversity vs the Milwaukee Brewers as the chase for October is in full swing. Hudson and Joel recap the season to this point for the Jays as well as touching on a number of other topics in the world of sports.
Hudson has returned from Europe, ready to keep the positive vibes going around the 1st place Blue Jays. With a month left in the regular season, it's time to lock down the AL East and set our sights on October.
Vibes are high, the team is rolling, and the Yankees are in a downward spiral. Can life get any better? We can't tell you how this is happening, but the Toronto Blue Jays continue to exploit teams' weaknesses and have been the best team in baseball since May 1st. Who will Ross trade for as the deadline approaches? Is Anthony Volpe hiding information about Aaron Boone being in the Epstein files? All this and more on the newest episode of the 500 Level Podcast.
Misha and Hudson are back in the booth, and the Jays are back in 1st place (this late in the season) for the first time since 2016. George "Unc" Springer's resurgence, Barger's breakout, and the power of friendship are all major reasons for this recent success. Let's keep this rolling into the all-star break, nothing but positivity over here.
The Blue Jays just lost a series to the lowly White Sox of Chicago, but still sit in a very favourable spot in the American League standings. Hudson breaks down the state of the team and what is to come in the weeks ahead.
Hudson hops on to discuss the state of the Blue Jays season, following an electric 4-game sweep of the Athletics. We will back later on this season to break down the newest news from the "Summer of Barge". Go Jays!
It happened? Vladdy Jr. has (officially) signed a lifetime extension with the Blue Jays. Jays had to back up the Brinks truck, but honestly, it was sort of a steal. The team is also off to a decent start, and the lads are in a good mood. Let's win some ballgames!
Blue Jays opening day is close, but Hudson wanted to rant about the Vladdy contract negotiations. 600 million is just ludicrous. He's just not Soto.
All of a sudden it's mid-February and baseball is around the corner (spring training at least). Mad Max is a Blue Jay, although that's slightly old news at this point. Even though the Vladdy contract negotiation is still not done, the real question in the back of everyone's mind is whether or not #DomeFromHome will return.
The Jays finally managed not to finish second and signed a big-name free agent for once. Does that mean they're good? Probably not. Will we still complain about everything else that's wrong? Definitely. Either way, Anthony Santander is a Jay. Also, can we just pay Vladdy already?
The Blue Jays are fun to watch? After yet another brief hiatus, the boys are back and more positive than ever, screw draft picks when you can play .500 ball right? The Angels suck, Bowden Francis is the second coming of Roy Halladay and Joey "The Loperfidshow" Loperfido is making waves in Blue Jays land. Baseball has never been more fun.
After a mid-season hiatus, the boys reunite to discuss the state of the 38-44 Blue Jays. From the upcoming trade deadline to the future of the Jays's key players, there is plenty of uncertainty surrounding the team. But do not let us win tomorrow.......
