It happened? Vladdy Jr. has (officially) signed a lifetime extension with the Blue Jays. Jays had to back up the Brinks truck, but honestly, it was sort of a steal. The team is also off to a decent start, and the lads are in a good mood. Let's win some ballgames!
Blue Jays opening day is close, but Hudson wanted to rant about the Vladdy contract negotiations. 600 million is just ludicrous. He's just not Soto.
All of a sudden it's mid-February and baseball is around the corner (spring training at least). Mad Max is a Blue Jay, although that's slightly old news at this point. Even though the Vladdy contract negotiation is still not done, the real question in the back of everyone's mind is whether or not #DomeFromHome will return.
The Jays finally managed not to finish second and signed a big-name free agent for once. Does that mean they're good? Probably not. Will we still complain about everything else that's wrong? Definitely. Either way, Anthony Santander is a Jay. Also, can we just pay Vladdy already?
