Do you struggle with feeling like there are always a million little tasks to complete? It doesn't take long to start to feel a great deal of overwhelm and anxiety due to the lack of tying up loose ends. In this episode let's explore what may be an intentional action you can start to implement as a part of your normal life to help "close the loop" when it comes to tasks and events leading to greater peace, control and mental capacity. Enjoy Episode 19- "Close the Loop: Are you around for the closing credits?"   It was "A Bugs Life"! Here are the parodies at the end of the show that I was so happy I stuck around for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j1m2wwdcVA   Interest in joining The Coaching Connection? What is hoarding? People with hoarding disorder excessively save items that others may view as worthless. They have persistent difficulty getting rid of or parting with possessions, leading to clutter that disrupts their ability to use their living or work spaces.   Hoarding is not the same as collecting. Collectors look for specific items, such as model cars or stamps, and may organize or display them. People with hoarding disorder often save random items and store them haphazardly. In most cases, they save items that they feel they may need in the future, are valuable or have sentimental value. Some may also feel safer surrounded by the things they save.   https://www.psychiatry.org/patients-families/hoarding-disorder/what-is-hoarding-disorder   Professional organizers will work with you to decide what you want to keep, and to identify where unwanted items will go. They will, in many cases, facilitate the disposal, donation or sale of belongings a client wants to part with.   https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/16/smarter-living/professional-organizers-productivity-clutter.html#:~:text=Professional%20organizers%20will%20work%20with,client%20wants%20to%20part%20with.   I have so many great ideas but no idea where to start I cant let go of this idea bc I may forget about it.    “This idea is incorporated in the KonMari Method as expressing gratitude to your belongings for taking care of you,” she said. “If you are letting go of an item, giving thanks is also a way of properly saying goodbye, so that you can mark the end of your relationship with the item and release it without guilt.”   https://www.huffpost.com/entry/marie-kondo-saying-thank-you_l_5c49ebc9e4b06ba6d3bb31e6#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThis%20idea%20is%20incorporated%20in,and%20release%20it%20without%20guilt.
So many of us want everything fixed in one go overnight. We think if we were just given the perfect schedule, parenting tip, or sales technique we'd be all set.  I've learned this is a lie our brain tells us. We often have everything we need already upstairs in our amazing creative brain. While it is great to continue learning and seeking council it is just as important to take the time to slow down and determine how we want to spend our time and if it aligns with who we are working on becoming.  It is my experience that getting deep on a few vital items is so much more powerful than being shallow on one-hundred of them.      "The Success of a vision is determined by its ownership by both the leader and the people." -John C. Sometimes it is good to sit back and reflect upon how far we have come! With busy brains it is easy to always be onto the next thing, I suggest we slow down for a second and feel gratitude for where we are and all that has come to pass that we once counted only as a dream.
I grew up thinking in order to be really good at something I was required to strain, struggle, and experience pain.  I'm beginning to believe more and more this is not actually a requirement for success and progress. We don't have to associate hardship with growth and hard work doesn't have to be painful. We can put in the work and still love the process, we can show up with ease and peace and expect immense growth and progress.     This weeks WEBINAR is on January 28, 2021 Register Here! https://view.flodesk.com/pages/5fed00883a5df1098468d3c7
Let's face it we're human and if you're anything like me you're still trying to figure it all out. But something I have realized is that where I want to live in order to feel my best self the most often is not pushing the extremes of my emotions but enjoying the steady pace of my resting heartbeat.  WEBINAR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!! Whether you are stepping into a new year or a new chapter of your life. It's a perfect time to clue into what you want most out of the nearing circumstance. Often those dreams and ideas are pushed away by reason but I encourage to not only think about them but externalize them and put them somewhere you can see them often. We create what we think about and our thoughts are inspired according to the circumstances we surround ourselves with.    Subscribe to my email list! "If you make it you can change it, you're the boss applesauce." Don't let the fear of changing your mind stop you from reaching your actual life goals.
Sometimes setting goals can be frustrating not because of our belief but because we are inflexible with our expectations. Don't hate your RIGID goals love your belief that you have the belief and capacity to create them come what may.
What do you think about when you have nothing to think about? Where does your mind often wander? We may think that this is a passive activity-it can be if we choose to allow it, however in this episode we uncover the power that our wandering mind really can have on our actual reality and how this adjustment may allow for greater progress throughout our lived journey.
Insecurities are based on the drama other people make up in their own minds invading your space. Don't let it in, put on your shoes, head out the door and get after your life.
We all come into life with certain natural programs, some of us are yellers, some of us cry, some of us blame or avoid, some of us are blindly optimistic.  Do we all have to accept these programs for forever or is there room to change and to "reprogram" our brain to approach our life in a new and improved way?
We all have reached our breaking point before and LOST IT! Before that happens it's important that we recognize why.    Let's think a little more about out life as a teapot and how anticipating the pressure and steam building can help us gain control before it's too late.
All the success starts in the morning, or does it? Let's take a look at how evenings seem to deliver the day.
Somedays we wake up with low energy- feeling sluggish and moving at a slower pace. But does that mean the day is wasted before it's even begun? What if we could feel satisfied at sunset without straining and over exerting? Here are a few things I learned today as I lived in that curiosity.
