A huge day for the Black Caps as they opted to bat first in the third and final cricket test match against the West Indies at the Bay Oval today. Three big golfing events are coming to New Zealand in consecutive weeks in 2026. It was announced today that a lower sternum tackle height was going to be implemented in the elite game of rugby for the first time at the World U20 Championships in Georgia next year. It follows a successful trial in community rugby that has seen 11 countries implement these rules which resulted in 10 percent reduction in upright tackles, and some of the unions reporting a reduction in concussion rates.
