Last night, the NPC draw was released for the 2026 season. In 2025 the Wellington Lions decided to take all of their home games to Porirua Park as they struggled to get the fans to turn up to their 34,500 seat stadium in central Wellington. With the big stadium comes high cost and lots of empty yellow seats. The 2026 draw has revealed that they have decided to go back on this decision, and they will once again take all their games to the now named Hnry Stadium in Wellington city.
