We're continuing in James, looking at the marriage of works with our faith. James implores us to not display a "dead" faith, but to prove our life in Christ through our actions. We are not saved because of our works, but we are saved to do good works!
As we finish James chapter one, we look at James' command to us to be more than hearers of the word of God. We are called to be people of action! James will repeat this theme throughout his letter, but he lays the foundation today. What does it look like for us to respond to God's word?
