I believe the idea behind the more hidden memory vaults is that they're supposed to be semi-suppressed memories. The reason they're so hard to find is because the person whose mind you're in doesn't want to think about it. there's a lot more to psychonauts if you dig beneath the surface

I just got this last christmas its pretty good. I really liked Id tech 4. I was a big fan of doom 3 and quake 4 as well the graphics at the time had me saying they cant get better than this.

Doom is the best modern shooter imo. I am biased though I am a 90s kid and grew up on the ID, Apogee, 3drealms games of the era.
