Bluff City Outdoor Show 2-7-2026
We check in w/ Mark, who's still on the road for this season's outdoor show circuit. This week he checks in from Marion IL. Our special guest this week is Capt. Spencer Clark from Breaking Bass Guide Service based in Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo. You can find him and book your own trip here here at BREAKINGBASSGUIDESERVICE.COM
Firstly we check in w/ Mark from the road in Alabama, then get a visit from Tom Mitchell for the Wildwood Conservation Alliance. The reason for Tom's visit is to discuss his battle with Wildwood City Council. His organization is attempting to keep the controlled deer hunt in that area under local control instead of contracting the hunts out to an out of town firm at up to $1000 per deer.
We catch up w/ Mark in KC who's out on the road for the seasons outdoor show circuit...he's quick to remind us that registration for the 2026 Alton Catfish Classic is open!

Mark's Big Boss, Felicia, stops by the show to dish on behind the scenes stuff at at the shop and her role in the Alton Catfish Classic. She also brings the announcement of the date for the 2026 Alton Catfish Classic. Of course we bring you the water fowl and fishing report for the upcoming week.
We catch up one of our fave hunters, Tim Kjellesvik from GSM Outdoors. The (controversial) water fowl report continues and as per the weekly fishing report, fishing might be looking good this weekend, if you can stand the weather!
Thanksgiving weekend show! Baitcaster Left or Right? and we revisit an interview w/ Jessie Lance.
We catch up w/ MLF fishing pro Michael Harlin to chat about his upcoming appearance at the incredibly interesting Missouri Invitational Tourney and his new signature jig from Crock-O-Gator . We end it all off with the water fowl and fishing report.
Double guest action this week! First we speak w/ Al McCulloch from the NPFL & Anglers in Action. We also chat w/ Dan Zarlenga from the MO Dept. of Conservation about all things deer season! We are also your source for the weekly fishing report and the new water fowl update for duck season!
This week we chat w/ Jessie Lance from the Kansas side of KC. Why? He is the unofficial world record holder w/ his recent catch of a giant Blue Catfish in the Missouri river. Possibly 62-66 inches long and possibly 152-162 pounds!!!
Steve Jawor of Great Harvest Bread Co Maplewood, isn't only a fantastic baker, but he's quite the fisherman as well. He joins us and rattles off more pumpkin related baked goods than we thought was imaginable. He also dishes on his experience at the Big Bass Bash last week at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Duck Season is coming soon! We chat w/ Justin Vaughn from SHOW ME DUCKS . He answers our dumb duck questions, let's us know about awesome Show Me Ducks products and has signed on to provide a weekly waterfowl report sourced from local guides.
We catch up w/ the winners of the Alton Catfish Classic and bring you a fantastic interview w/ Justin Browning. Justin is an advocate for the ethical sourcing of catfish that end up in pay lakes in Ohio.
The Alton CATFISH CLASSIC IS TODAY!!!!! Get there NOW!!!Mark is on the road so we're joined by the Tin Horse Monty - Gabe Montgomery. Lots of tournament talk and of course the only fishing report in town!
