In this episode of Nomad Pastor, I sit down to talk about the reality of spiritual warfare in today’s culture. From the chaos we see in entertainment, addiction, identity, and division, to the heartbreaking assassination of Charlie Kirk, it’s clear that the enemy is alive and active but instead of responding with anger and hate, I share why we must suit up in the armor of God, lock shields like Easy Company in Band of Brothers, and live with the same courage in our faith that Charlie wanted to be remembered for. We’ll talk about what it means to stay...
I’ve spent years on this podcast teaching through books of the Bible, recovery, discipleship, and the struggles we all face. But I’ve also avoided the hard topics, especially faith and politics, out of fear.
The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk and the powerful words of Dr. Frank Turek reminded me that silence is no longer an option. The world is loud. Evil is loud. Lies are loud. If Christians whisper, who will ever hear the truth?
In this episode, I share why our faith should shape our politics, not the other way around. We’ll talk about the First Amendment, the often-misused phrase “separation of church and state,” and how to defend your faith in political conversations with both courage and grace.
If you’ve listened to me for long, you know one of my greatest inspirations is Dr. Frank Turek. His book I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist (co-authored with Dr. Norman Geisler) is still one of my favorites on apologetics. My goal is to be at least half as bold and effective as he has been in defending truth.
This one is personal. It’s raw. And it’s needed.

Isaiah 6:8 asks a question that still echoes today: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Isaiah’s answer was simple but life-changing: “Here am I. Send me.” Whether it’s stepping out in faith, serving in your community, or simply saying yes to the opportunities God puts in front of you, the mission field begins the moment you walk out your door. In this episode, I share personal stories, lessons from Scripture, and what I’ve learned from churches like LifePoint in Smyrna, who built everything around one theme: Live Sent. Because the truth is, the greatest adventures with...
Ephesians 6 isn’t just words on a page, it’s a battle plan for everyday life. Paul reminds us that the fight isn’t against people, it’s against the enemy who whispers lies and tries to steal our joy. But God hasn’t left us unarmed. He’s given us the armor of truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and His Word. If I was sitting across the table from you, I’d tell you this: you don’t have to win the war, you just have to stand. God’s already won it. #Ephesians6 #ArmorOfGod #FaithOverFear #SpiritualBattle #StandFirm #NomadPastor #BibleStudy #ChristianPodcast #DailyEncouragement #FaithJourney
In this episode of Nomad Pastor, we walk through Ephesians 5—not as a list of rules, but as an invitation. Paul calls us to walk in love, to walk in light, and to walk in wisdom. Along the way, I share pieces of my own journey—times when shame and mistakes kept me down, when I thought the darkness defined me, and when I wasted years chasing after empty things. But Ephesians reminds us we’re not defined by where we’ve been—we’re defined by who we are in Christ: dearly loved children. This is a conversation about grace, freedom, and redemption. Whether...
After months of silence, the Nomad Pastor Podcast is back. In this episode, I open up about how the enemy tries to creep into our minds with whispers of doubt, failure, and shame. I’ll share my own struggle of stepping away from this podcast, how those lies almost kept me from ever starting again, and how God’s truth broke through the noise. We’ll walk through scripture—Eve in the garden, Elijah under the broom tree, David on the rooftop, Peter by the fire, and even the thief on the cross—to see how the enemy always attacks the mind first. But we’ll...
Today, we’re digging into Ephesians Chapter 4, a powerful transition point in Paul’s letter. Guided by key scriptures, 1 Corinthians 10:13 and James 5:16, we delve into the truth that addiction is not just a physical or psychological struggle, but a spiritual battle as well. 1 Corinthians 10 assures us that no temptation is too great to overcome, and God always provides a way out. James 5 reminds us of the healing power that comes through confession and prayer within a supportive community. This episode will highlight the importance of spiritual accountability, the role of confession, and the transformative power of prayer....

How can you maintain your integrity, shine your light, and remain steadfast in...
Today we’re tackling a profound, and maybe surprising, topic: ‘The worst thing ever is the murder of the Son of God, and the best thing ever is the death of the Son of God.’ Now, I know that may sound confusing at first—how can the greatest tragedy in history also be the greatest victory? But this paradox is at the very heart of the Gospel, and I think as we unpack it together, you’ll see why the crucifixion of Jesus is the most important event in all of human history. We’re going to take some time today to explore what...
