Listen Up Audio Nerds! In this new podcast section, Conni dives deep into the world of live sound with touring pros from across the globe.Kicking things off is none other than Joey Diehl — an audiophile mixing massive stadium shows for artists like Benson Boone. He shares his wildest FOH moments and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at his mixing magic.
🎙️ After three attempts, we finally made it - we went online and recorded our first completely remote On the RoadCast episode! Yay! 🥳From tour chaos to elephant fights, unexpected, naked surprises and how to stay sane on tour – this episode has it all. 🐘🎸Join us as we look back on a busy and successful past 365 days and sneak peaking into what the new year might be holding in store! #ontheroadcast #tour #tourlife #behindthescene #musicindustry # touring
It only takes us three questions to figure out if somebody’s been on tour before: Do groupies exist? 💋 Have you stepped in v0mit or other body fluids? 🤢 Has anybody ever eaten or dropped your labeled food (RIP, delicious peach yoghurt)? 🚫 Clearly, our friend and coach bus logistics manager of choice Moosi Moosbrugger (IG @moosi_arts) has a sophisticated answer to all of the above and has more than proved, YES, he’s got a whole bunch of tours under his belt. Moosi’s come a long way from kicking off his career without a bus driver’s permit back in the day and will share some tips (smokers, make sure to listen to this one! 🚬) , insights and memories of the past years. What do Dropkick Murphy’s, Cannibal Corpse and Coheed & Cambria have in common? They have great taste in audio engineers and have been on tour with the man, the myth, the legend:Pete Robertson! ⭐(Btw has anybody told him he’s going to be part of the most chaotic - yet insanely hilarious IOHO - podcast ever? 😱😱😱)Pete works as a FOH and studio audio engineer and has been turning knobs on desks for a really looong time. 🎛️🎤Being the personification of a story book, he’s got countless incredible anecdotes to share, like an encounter with a police officer while speeding in uhm… a very feminine outfit? 🧔‍♀️Trust us when we say this is only slightly scratching the surface of a load of insane narratives! 📖Watch Pete's cameo in Coheed & Cambria’s video “A favor house atlantic” here 👇https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRWjLLpwnOMWe want to hear your thoughts! The girls are back in town, baby! 👩🏻👩🏼👩🏼‍🦰Everybody give a warm welcome and round of applause to our kick-🍑 tour photographer and merch manager friend Sarai (@photosbysarai). 🙏Sarai had been out with Stick To Your Guns on their “Keep planting flowers”-tour  just a bunch of weeks ago and didn’t even hesitate when being asked if she wanted to have some 👏real 👏 talk about the touring life, the biz and our aspirations of finally getting our life together by making our own sour bread dough. (Yes, for real). 🍞Long runs, busses breaking down (spontaneous cross-loads, anyone? Yay!), messed up sleep schedules for life, how to get a foot in the industry door and so much more. 😎Special thanks go out to our friends at Arena Wien for having us again! Crazy but true. We made it through this without having a “Conni’s tummy bug is acting up” incident. (Disclaimer: No furniture was harmed during the recording of this episode 💩).Our dear, fearless friend Zach Jordan (@zachbane) took the risk of getting a special (gastroenterological) tour souvenir and sat down for a chat! And he even showered for us! 🚿Well… Zach’s definitely been in stickier and more interesting situations, like……getting mugged on tour, maybe? 💀💀💀…or finding a huge bonfire made of 🥬 at a venue?Being a guitarist for BANE and the tour manager for STICK TO YOUR GUNS (and many more), Zach truly is the man of a 1000 stories. Lucky us, he shared quite a few bangers in the newest episode of On the RoadCast. 😍We want to hear your thoughts! Sorry, guys. 😢 We simply had no other choice than… …spend our last hard earned tour bucks (and future retirement fund) on plane tickets to escape the cold and dismal Viennese winter. Thankfully we found shelter in Conni’s new influencer hacienda on the Canary islands. 🙏🙏🙏 #gaycation2025 🌈 Picking up where we left off in our last release, we’ll take a peek at our upcoming tour schedules and finish part two of our 1:1 episode with another round of Q&A. We’ll see you again in a couple of weeks - after finishing our internal PGA tour and trying to get a crispy tan. 🍗 If you love what we do, feel free to leave a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review. Farewell and goodbye to 2024 and hellooooo 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣!!! With new tours already around the corner for 2025, last year basically feels older than yesterday’s jam! 🫙 Packed in a quick and fun round of Q&A, we relived our recent tour memories - the good, the bad and well… the ugly and put it in a new episode. 🎤’Nuff said! We got him hooked on JUMPY'S! Lewis MacRae, vocalist of UK-based metalcore four-piece RITUALS joined us in the podcast van for a hilarious episode which is all about the snacks!!! Right after touching down in Austria for their short tour alongside UP CLOSE, the guys visited the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum (where Conni might or might not touched Arnie's d*ck..) and took a deep dive into Austrian culture. If you want to know more about Lewis' scottish heritage and his family castle (?!) or the bands biggest highlight so far: playing Download Festival this summer, listen to this brand new episode!

We love this woman.  Funny, smart and the voice of an angel. It’s PÄM!!  She started out as a merchandise manager for TURBOBIER and now she is building her career as a singer and songwriter, while working a day job and using her social media platform to inspire women and encourage them to be who they are.  Nothing can stop her... not even almost freezing to death while trying to pee and falling into a river in Switzerland?  Keep an eye out for this one because PÄM has big plans.
Spoiler alert: this episode features a really cute dog, so we highly recommend watching it :D It's all about STRESS! Running his own (stress-)studio, working as a tourmanager for SEILER & SPEER, mixing shows for bands like BOYSETSFIRE or touring as a guitarist with his own Punk Rock band ANTIMANIAX.. TOM ZWANZGER never takes a break! Check out this mildly stressful but super funny episode with our whirlwind of a friend Tom and his dog Panzer.
This guy is CRACKING us up. Pun intended. This year Mike and his band DeeCRACKS will celebrate 20 years of punk rock history with a big festival at Arena Vienna. (Nov 17th & 18th 2023) ...and it was quite the journey. Including eleven different bassists (Vicky already put in her application to be number twelve). From being banned from the United States of America for a lifetime to making it big in Japan and how their approach has changed over the years - don't miss this super funny episode :)
This episode is HOT!!  ..and not only because of the people in it!  While building his hot sauce empire „TOM’S HOT STUFF“, Tommy Hlatky also drums in various punk rock bands like DEADENDS and A GUY NAMED LOU. His stories about touring in Japan are hilarious!Have you ever heard about an OWL CAFÈ? (..and even better, a HIGHLAND COW CAFÈ?)    Listen and find out more!
Is there a better place to record the first episode of season 2 than under the Italian sun in MILAN? And is there a better guest than DAVID BAQI, touring guitarist of Being as An Ocean and vocalist in Takers Leavers? Both times the answer is NO. We had such a great time chatting about moving tour memories and the importance of being a 'clutch' player in this industry. Oh and if you want to hear the story of how Conni almost died while sleeping in a Minitours van this summer (with THE SAME driver that David was touring with when we recorded this episode.. small world) TUNE IN!!!
Every hard'n'heavy music fan worth their salt will know the genre's legendary vocalist: George Fisher aka "Corpsegrinder" - frontman of American death metal giants Cannibal Corpse! Once again we rolled up to our beloved out of home makeshift studio at Arena Vienna, smashed some snacks and drinks and shared some truly unfiltered real talk with George "The Neck" himself. Are you ready? This is what we've got in stores for you: -Why touring is NOT a piece of cake. "Get a real job" - George -Audacious five finger discounts AKA Watch your sh*t (even backstage) -Censored songs and how to play them live anyway -Disneyland and Santa Claus (Wait. What?) Have Fun listening to our last episode of season 1 and make sure to leave a 5* review! <3
After the severe weather unfortunately ruined their scheduled show at Nova Rock Festival 2022, the Austrian audience was even hotter to finally see DON BROCO live in concert at Arena Vienna! The Bands drummer Matt (and their Tour Manager Alec) met with us to try out our newly discovered beep-button while talking (and swearing) about.. ..the full story behind the bands name! (Don Loco, Don Bronco, Don Broco??) ..a literally "sick" Fan moment after partying with the band Four Years Strong. and lots and lots of other hilarious stories you most likely haven't heard before!  This was also the first time a guest used a „telephone joker“ on this podcast. Have fun with Episode 19 of ONTHEROADCAST - listen on Spotify and APPLEMUSIC!
Welcome to this month's second release of your all time fave tourpodcast <3 Mitch and Thomas, guitarist and bassist for the California-based Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band SILENT PLANET spent some time with us to talk about their crazy life on the road. Whip out your hairspray and black eyeliner. It's Emo time!  Time traveling to some point in the early 2000s with our friend Sandy, guitarist for girl-power-vulva-rock band Vulvarine.  Emo culture, My Chemical Romance, from first to last, MySpace, snake bites, bangs and heavy make up are some of the hottest topics (pun intended) three former Emo girls could discuss. Besides unveiling our deepest darkest secrets from the past and guilty pleasures we can't get rid off, we've got some more funny, crazy and weird stories about life on tour.  Want to enjoy your favorite podcast and music in best audio quality or step up your studio game? ..some people are real naturals! Can you believe this was our guests first take on a podcast? Making time before a sold-out headliner show in Vienna, Dan Brown, guitarist and songwriter for Australian metalcore giants The Amity Affliction got comfy on our pop up studio's sofa at Vienna's SimmCity for a sizzling hot new episode of OTRC. Get ready for these gems: - which one of musical history's biggest pop stars (hint: her first name starts with M) took a dump in Bowling for Soups coach bus toilet at  Warped Tour. -why you should be careful when taking pics with fans teddy bears.. (how taking pics with a fans teddy bear can take a very very very wild and devastating turn)  -our shared (and slightly questionable) passion for taxidermy. Beaver pen**es and stuffed pets, anyone?  As you already know, we've got the sauciest tour stories from awesome, to sad and/or simply nuts! Hold up... Nuts? Could that be a hint to one of our next podcast guest?
