“I’m excited, but I’m tired.” That’s the reality of doctors committed to growth. Traveling. Studying. Training. Leveling up. Because elevating chiropractic takes work. This week on the podcast, Dr. Deed Harrison, Dr. Joe Ferrantelli, and Dr. Jason Jaeger break down what’s happening inside the CBP® community — and why the future of chiropractic education is evolving rapidly. Here’s what you need to know: The CBP Hands-On Workshop delivers real-world, technique-driven, practical training. The CBP Diplomate Program is not a weekend certificate — it’s a comprehensive, structured educational pathway. It includes substantial peer-reviewed research and systematic reviews. It’s designed for depth, mastery, and clinical confidence — not surface-level CE credits. Networking at events like Parker Seminars connects you with leaders shaping the profession. The future of chiropractic education includes stronger online components — while preserving essential hands-on mastery. If we want higher standards in chiropractic… If we want credibility in healthcare… If we want research-backed spinal correction protocols that withstand scrutiny… Education must evolve. That’s exactly what CBP is doing. - Diplomate status matters. - Research matters. - Community matters. “It’s one of my favorite events to do.” — because when chiropractors gather to learn, the profession moves forward. If you’re serious about: • Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) • Evidence-based spine correction • Raising your clinical authority • Contributing to a stronger chiropractic community This is your invitation. - Tag a chiropractor who needs to hear this. - Share this with your team. - Get involved in the next CBP workshop or diplomate track. The future of chiropractic won’t build itself.
In this powerful and candid episode of the Chiropractic Biophysics Podcast, Dr. Joe Ferrantelli and Dr. Jason Jaeger sit down with Dr. John Maltby — Secretary General of the World Federation of Chiropractic — to unpack the real story behind chiropractic’s global expansion, regulatory battles, and cultural authority. From Rwanda to China, discover how the WFC is helping chiropractors gain legal recognition in countries where doctors still risk arrest for practicing. This conversation cuts through misinformation about the WHO, internal profession conflicts, and what truly matters: making chiropractic accessible to all people, in all nations. The episode also tackles one of the hottest topics in the profession — X-ray rights. A recent survey of over 3,600 practicing U.S. chiropractors reveals that 92% see value in radiographs beyond pathology, and nearly 99% believe they pose minimal risk. As debates intensify about scope, regulation, and the profession’s future, this episode challenges chiropractors to unite, elevate standards, and focus on what truly advances chiropractic worldwide.

We are back!  In this episode, Dr. Deed Reviews the latest publication, "Comparison of Sensorimotor Integration and Skill-Related Physical Fitness Components Between College Athletes With and Without Forward Head Posture" Give a listen to see how this will apply to your practice with your patients with Forward Head Posture! This amazing case control publication identified that forward head posture influences sensori-motor integration and athletic functional skills tests. Specifically, as the FHP increases, athletic skill test performance is altered negatively. We identified an increased in Time on the T-test, a decreased vertical leap, decreased static and dynamic balance in persons with increasing FHP

Abstract [Purpose] To demonstrate the reduction of symptoms related to Parkinson's disease by improvement in posture. [Participant and Methods] A 59-year-old male patient presented with a prior diagnosis of Parkinson's. Symptoms included a resting right hand tremor, intermittent 'freezing episodes' with gait, mild ataxia with shuffling on toes and bradykinesia assisted with a cane, as well as low back pain and right knee pain. Radiography revealed gross postural and spine deformity. The patient received Chiropractic BioPhysics care including mirror image exercises, spinal traction, spinal adjustments as well as gait rehabilitation. [Results] After 38 treatments over 5 months, the patient had significant improvements in posture alignment as well as gait, balance, hand tremors, low back and knee pains and SF-36 values. A 21 month follow-up revealed the patient had remained essentially well and the initial postural improvements were maintained. [Conclusion] This case demonstrates improvement of various symptoms in a patient with Parkinson's disease. Since poor posture is a long known clinical manifestation of this disorder, it is proposed that the improvement of posture in these patients may lead to improved outcomes. X-ray use in the diagnosis and management in those with spine deformity is safe and not carcinogenic. Keywords: Adult spinal deformity; Parkinson’s disease; Posture rehabilitation. Forward head posture negatively affects the autonomic nervous system. There is a strong correlation between the CVA and cervical sensorimotor outcomes. there is strong correlation between the CVA and skin sympathetic outcomes. CONCLUSION: We have identified that forward head posture is associated with abnormal autonomic nervous system function and disturbances of cervical sensorimotor control. This finding has important implications for the assessment and rehabilitation of these subjects.

Drs. Fred, Deed and Joe are back at it with another episode. In this episode, we discuss CBP care and of course "Choosing Wisely" which was adopted by the American Chiropractic Association.  These may be logical for a medical doctor that does not intervene with structural alignment, however, for the evidence based chiropractor who needs x-ray for better patient care with better outcomes, it is completely inappropriate.  We discuss why.
