As we start the year, we are beginning a series on missiology and our place within the mission of God. Today we look at creation & glory, decreation & the fall, and recreation & redemption.
In this standalone message, we see that Jesus invites the weary to lay down the burden of their sin in order to receive true rest & true life in Him.
The promised Messiah has come and we can either receive Him or reject Him.
When we experience the glory of God, we experience fear which is then replaced by peace because of Jesus. Then, when we experience Jesus we have to respond and the best response is to worship and enjoy Him.
The historical events surrounding Jesus's birth give us confidence to follow Him as the one true King who alone is worthy of our hope and devotion.
