Teen Angst, Identity, Sexuality, and the world of the Peanuts Gang collide in this episode, just in time for Pride Month. HAPPY PRIDE! Synopsis: When CB’s dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group’s bullying, offers CB a peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that’s both haunting and hopeful.  Directed by Lisa Heili. "Dog Sees God is a rare item; a wicked satire that is so much more than just a tearing-down of cultural icons. It's rich with insight into our vulnerabilities, and forces us to think hard about what we owe to each other." - Broadway World"a play that invites audiences to reflect on identity (the theme for their season), and reminds us how perspectives can change, for characters and for audiences, with time and understanding." - DC Theatre Scene Tickets $20-$32 and can be purchased HERE!Friday Performances: June 9, 23; July 14Pub Opens @ 6:00, Preshow music from 6:15-7:15, Show starts at 7:30Saturday Twilight Performances: June 10, 24; July 15Pub Opens @ 2:30, Preshow music from 2:45-3:45, Show starts at 4:00Sunday Matinees: June 11, 25; July 16Pub Opens @ 12:30, Preshow music from 12:45-1:45, Show starts at 2:00

Life at The Forst Inn is a Cabaret, old chum! Hosts Thomas Moore and Kevin James Sievert discuss the Inn's first fall musical production of CABARET with the production's Director Lisa Heili, Music Director David Bowman, and two of the show's stars Sophia Bartles (Sally Bowles) and Jessica Marie Green (Emcee).  In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920's draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken with English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally's boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Join Us!
