WTTA's Mike Sodini joins Cam for a look back at the group's efforts in 2025, including helping new research into the unintended consequences of "red flag" laws.
Assistant AG and head of the DOJ's Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon joins Cam to discuss the Second Amendment Section's new lawsuits taking on D.C.'s "assault weapon" ban and the U.S. Virgin Islands' draconian gun storage scheme and licensing delays.
A new report by the Bloomberg-funded website The Trace, published in partnership with Rolling Stone, is meant to portray the firearms industry as greedy purveyors of violence who flooded American streets with hundreds of millions of ammunition magazines that can hold more than ten rounds. Despite the tone, the piece proves what gun owners have said all alone; these magazines are commonly-owned for lawful purposes and should, therefore, be protected by the Second Amendment.
U.S. Army Reserve Lt. Col. Lauren Sharpless is aiming for victory in the Tactical Games after winning the Masters (40+ division) in 2024 and finishing second this year. Sharpless, who serves as Director of Training for U.S. Army Reserve Command, joins Bearing Arms' Cam & Company to talk about her training regimen, which includes regular range time with her shooting coach as well as her family.
NPR's reporting on a new "study" of ATF trace data by Everytown for Gun Safety contains numerous problems, starting with the outlet's repeated claims that all guns traced by the ATF were discovered "at crime scenes."
American Suppressor Association head Knox Williams joins Cam to talk about the upcoming end of the $200 tax on suppressors and short-barreled firearms, which will officially be repealed on January 1, as well as the continued legal efforts to undo the NFA's registration requirements.
NRA-ILA Executive Director John Commerford, recently named one of the most effective grassroots lobbyists in D.C. by The Hill, joins Cam to talk about the push for federal gun control in the wake of the shooting at Brown University, as well as the coming onslaught of gun control bills in Virginia and other blue states.
San Francisco Sheriff Paul Miyamoto is apologizing for allowing dozens of concealed carry permits to expire despite permit holders sending in their paperwork to renew them. As a result, these residents can no longer legally bear arms, and the sheriff's admission could and should get the attention of the DOJ's new Second Amendment Section.
Timothy Knight was one of three NRA board members to resign in 2019 after they were, among other things, stripped of their committee assignments for trying to investigate the organization's finances. Now Knight says he's pleased to see the steps towards reform that he's seen from the board and NRA leadership, and is encouraging gun owners to join him in supporting the NRA once more.
Kostas Moros, Second Amendment Foundation's Director of Legal Research and Education, joins Cam to discuss the WSJ's ongoing attacks on Stand Your Ground, permitless carry, and the right to bear arms in general.
Ashley Hlebinsky, executive director of the University of Wyoming Law School's Firearms Research Center, joins Cam to discuss the details of a new initiative to provide K-12 teachers with valuable lessons on the Second Amendment that's funded by a Department of Education grant.
Cam highlights an ongoing issue in anti-gun locales; using municipal zoning laws to ice out gun stores and chill the exercise of our Second Amendment rights.
According to the gun control group Everytown, defensive gun uses are rare things. But as Heritage Foundation's Amy Swearer notes, even using Everytown's data (which dramatically undercounts DGUs) these incidents are far more common than gun-involved homicides.
California Rifle & Pistol Association Legislative Director Rick Travis joins the show with some unexpected good news for gun owners from the state capitol in Sacramento.
A trio of Second Amendment-related cases are slated for this week's Supreme Court conference, including Duncan v. Bonta's challenge to California's magazine ban and a lawsuit taking on the "assault weapon" ban imposed by Cook County, Illinois. Will the Court greenlight one or more of these cases or continue delaying consideration of laws banning commonly owned arms?
Minnesota Gun Owners Law Center head Rob Doar joins Cam to talk about the ongoing efforts by more than a dozen cities in the state to adopt local gun bans in violation of the state's firearm preemption law; efforts that are now largely on hold after the Law Center and MN Gun Owners Caucus sued St. Paul over its new ordinance.
Twenty-five attorneys general are urging the Supreme Court to declare Hawaii's "vampire rule" on concealed carry unconstitutional. Cam breaks down the AG's amicus brief in addition to today's recidivist report, armed citizen story, and good deed of the day.
Virginia Citizens Defense League president Philip Van Cleave joins Cam to talk about the onslaught of gun control bills looming on the horizon in Richmond, as well as the Democrats' strategy of delaying introduction of these bills to avoid a resurgence of the Second Amendment Sanctuary movement and grassroots opposition to their plans.
American Suppressor Association head Knox Williams joins Cam for a wide-ranging conversation touching on President Trump's nominee to head up the ATF, the push by Rep. Andrew Clyde and other members of Congress to get the DOJ to stop defending the NFA's tax and registration requirements, and the state of the suppressor industry ahead of the repeal of the $200 NFA tax starting on January 1.
Congressman Andrew Clyde (R-GA) joins Cam to discuss his letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, signed by 30 other members of the House, that demands the DOJ end the National Firearms Act's registration requirements after the $200 NFA tax was repealed as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

So the Vioer Shows His True Colors: Dam idiotic city Prosecutor wants to charge a man for protecting his property and family. Nice to see their true colors, so we already knew who they are, but now we definitely know who they are and who they represent: Thugs

Before they go and do that, then they'll have to charge Bic for those who use their pens as weapons, Pencil companies too. Auto makers for those who purposely commit crimes for using automobiles to run down people on sidewalks and streets. Manufacturers who make ties and belts for those that use them for strangling & bonding people for ransom and torture as well, etc, etc etc.

Here's a question for Virginian, if the right has the majority in both houses, can they Ammend the State Constitution to permit a governor to hold/run for TWO OR MORE TERMS? The idea every governor can only be a governor for one term really hurts the state. please reply, thanks, Al C
