After recently moving to Hamilton, Texas to create a hobby ranch and optimize the growth environment for his family, he applied all his strengths to create a goat and cattle ranch, along with chickens, using Social Media to break all the rules and gain a seat in his first run! Finding out that the local school board had allowed an ill-conceived 800-acre solar farm with massive tax breaks, he began speaking out. Neighbors demanded that he run for school board. The odds were not in his favor, but he won the election, and you’ll hear the rest of the story along with his backstory today. One of my oldest friends in Dallas, we met 20 years ago when she interviewed my Leadership Forum students for her doctoral thesis on Modes of Engagement!
