Description

The Common People is a podcast unearthing stories from Glastonbury’s South East corner. Recorded during the 2022 edition of the festival, each episode takes you on a deep dive into one of the most popular late-night areas of the largest greenfield festival in the world.

Each episode will explore a different part of The Commons story: free parties, family, indigenous cultures, spirituality, and of course, rave.

Reverse
In this final episode, we wanted to get the bottom of what makes the disrupters, the travellers and the ravers into a family for one week each year.
As we continue our journey through The Common we explored how the platforming of voices and communities underrepresented at Glastonbury creates a space to push the boundaries of what we believe is possible.  Here are interviews with Emily Dust, Natasha Mortimer, Hannah Kendaru and more to hear the origins of The Commons newest venue, indigenous voices, and how we can decolonise our healing.
The South East Corner is one of Glastonbury's most beloved areas, and at its heart lies The Common. In the first of our three part series we look at The Common's travelling roots and the free party influences that effect the music, the set and the people.
