Well this sucks. We watched a 24-7 halftime lead evaporate before our eyes. The Lions played so well in the first half, it had us thinking Super Bowl. They couldn't put together four quarters and the second half proved this team still has strides to make. However, it was a great year and one we could have never expected. The amount of support the Lions gained was cool to see. Onto next year with a new level of hunger and controlled fury.

The Lions win brings the regular season record to 12-5. They do lose a key player in the process, however. With the Rams beating the 49ers, the stage is set for Stafford to return to Detroit, as predicted by us*. The Eagles fall from grace, the Jags blow the division and the Steelers sneak in.
