Content warning: anime cringe. We're kidding. It doesn't get that bad, but Hannah and Halle do admit to having read anime fan fiction, so does it really get worse than that? Not sure. This episode also features beef from a lovely listener and is about one of Hannah and Halle's favorite topics to give unsolicited advice on: dating. I know, I know. I can see you're overcome with excitement seeing that we have finally released an episode. Wipe those tears of joy and strap in for Season 2 of The Beef Special. It's going to be insane and by that, I mean relatively similar to the last season. Except now we'll have some guests! But in this first episode, we're kicking things off with the usual suspects. Hannah and Halle recount Hannah's bender of a birthday where Halle details the jealous(?) glares from all the local brewery patrons. Hannah discusses her unusual bug sightings and the two talk about jealousy in its many forms, with expected tangents in between. We hope you enjoy.

Gonna be honest, this episode isn't for the faint of heart. Roe v. Wade was overturned, as expected, and we're obviously not too pumped about it. Did we go into all the details about the overturn? No. Did we go on frustration-fueled rants? Yes.

Look, we know this is coming out late. We are profusely apologetic. But to make it up to you, we made this episode way longer than it needed it to be. This episode has it all: Halle's weird pickle obsession, Hannah's dinner pet peeves, and the American dumpster fire caused by Roe v. Wade being potentially overturned.

Hannah and Halle are back from an unintentional hiatus with an episode they actually recorded about five months ago. In that time, they moved out of their shared townhome and now live in separate apartments in the city. It was for their own good. Happy New Year, folks! Can we still say that? Anyway, this episode proves that Hannah and Halle's opinions age like milk given the results of the election (see two episodes ago). So, please remember to take everything they say with a grain of salt. They can't be trusted. In other, lighter, news the two end up discussing the intricacies of making Spotify playlists, and then Halle can't shut up about the date she was asked on- it's rare for her. Hope you enjoy.
